Jon Stewart, Modern Contrarian?

That’s what I thought. I can’t imagine being a grieving parent and caring about any of that being said. It makes no sense to me. Why would I care about what some guy thinks?

Because he encouraged his listeners to harass the parents. And is why he was successfully sued.

Do you really believe that Joe Rogan was being an irresponsible and hateful person by having Alex Jones on his show?

Do you agree with the Biden Administration that Spotify need to take more action against the Joe Rogan podcast to limit the spread of opinions and information the Biden Administration doesn’t believe should be spread?

If so, can you explain what those actions are?

I think it was shitty to have him on and treat him with respect, and it really rubs me wrong how chummy he is with Alex Jones. So, I vote with my clicks and give none. Alex Jones is akin to the Westbrook Baptist church in my mind. Howard Stern had the WBC on a number of times… And just clowned on them the entire time, everytime. That’s how Jones should be treated if you must have him on your show.

I don’t think Rogan should be censored by the govt, or from govt pressure.

This is dead on. I love Joe Rogan. I voted for Trump twice. But Alex Jones is a complete asshat who needs to be ridiculed, rather talked to like a normal person.

The funny thing is no matter how crazy Alex is, is that he has been right much more times than wrong. And the guy is entertaining as duck.

You cant censor Joe Rogan. At worst he will go to Rumble and make it the most popular app. I barely use YouTube anymore due to their numerous adds, it is like watching TV. What is needed is Joe on Rumble to completely delete the app.

That one?

So? He’s still a piece of garbage as a person.

This says something about those who find a piece of garbage, entertaining. Mocking murdered children is entertainment?

He wasn’t mocking them at all - he was pointing out inconsistencies in the stories about sandy hook elementary. And to be fair: there are a good few inconsistencies. I’m not saying I don’t believe it happened at all, but there’s some REAL inconsistent shit about it. Writing it off because it’s offensive is also turning a blind eye where full visibility (and credibility) is necessary.
^not an alex jones fan, but he does have a good batting average :man_shrugging:

Please do lay some of these inconsistencies out for us.

Considering it’s taboo to question anything that can hurt someone’s feelings, I do not believe it will help anyone for me to do so.

Me telling you the inconsistencies I saw is going to do nothing but damage my own reputation. If you actually want to know, do your own research and come up with your own conclusions. I prefaced my comments with “I’m not saying I don’t believe it happened”, but if I’m reading your response correctly - you’ve already written that off.

No, I’m generally interested in what you see as inconsistencies.

The pictures of the school show virtually no decorations, particularly holiday related (shooting occurred December 14th). Unless this was the only public elementary school in America that doesn’t decorate for the holidays, this just doesn’t make sense.
Those same pictures show very little blood, considering 26 people (mostly kids) were killed.
The school looked unreasonably clean for having just gone through a mass shooting event. One would imagine papers, books, desks, chairs, etc. to be in COMPLETE disarray, but they weren’t in the pictures.

There was a woman claiming to be one of the victim’s mothers at Sandy Hook, and then went to Parkland and did the same thing. She had the same talking points when speaking to the news, all of which elated to “guns are bad”.

Politically, this was during a peak of the gun control debate, making it an already hot topic (more than usual). I don’t credit this as a reason as to the incident being ‘faked’, but it is always suspicious when huge tragedies align with political ideologies.

I personally remember seeing a video on the news of helicopter footage for this event. They were calmly escorting kids out of the school as if it were a fire drill, having them circle around the building - and go back in the other side. I can’t find the footage anywhere, and it could have been faked/not the same school/whatever, but I saw this playing LIVE on TV when it was happening. I have no evidence to back this whatsoever, so feel free to disregard it - I just know what I saw.

There are quite a few people who (reportedly) live in Newtown, Connecticut who said that the Sandy Hook school itself was unoperational for quite a while. I can’t validate any of these claims, but I also don’t know a motive for why someone would say that either. People are crazy though.

These are the biggest inconsistencies I saw. Again, I’m not sold on the whole “sandy hook was faked” thing, but the inconsistencies do make one think…

Please don’t.

If you are looking to get offended by something you will find every person on our planet a piece of garbage. I don’t look at people like that. Alex Jones is like your crazy conspiracy uncle that is very funny.

Not every person is trying to profit off the murder of children.

Maybe you have that uncle. I would find him an embarrassment if I did.

It seems you are confusing the word inconsistencies with bullshit.

it seems you are confusing your response with my caring about it. Wasn’t talking to you, wasn’t interested in talking to you, and you were about 45 minutes late with your “please don’t” response.

By all means though, please continue not questioning anything you see in the news. That’s never hurt anyone before.

You don’t watch the news. You watch people who tell you what was said on the news.
