Joe Legal Vs Jose Illegal

I think adequate troops , motion detectors , drones should more than take care of the problem

So conservative estimates of the cost of your illegal alien problem seem to be ~$15 billion per annum. Seems like a pretty simple and solid solution. Obviously not a local issue for me, so please clarify why this would not work? A wall just seems like a problem where if you throw enough dosh at it, it’ll get the job done.
It would take care of some foot traffic, you can go over and under , and I would bet they would figure ways to do through it as well . I see no reason why you want to spend that much money on an obsolete solution
How about a mine field? Those are pretty cheap.

To be serious there is not going to be a one size fits all solution. I go after the employers. If caught to having an illegal employee they must pay back all funds used by the illegal while over here, school, hospitals the like, and serve one year of prison per illegal employee. Make these guys accountable. Madam Speaker’s husband would have to serve a lot of time. If she is a part owner maybe they could have a couples cell.

The one thing they can not do is grant amnesty. That is the one idea that I can not get behind.

The one idea I can not get behind is Amnesty. Giving some one a pass for doing something illegal is just wrong in my book. Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to 1 million illegals in the 80’s thinking it would curb the amount of people coming here. It only made it worse.

What it’s like on the illegal beaner-front in TN? You question-dodger you… I’d actually like to know, since I have no plans of visiting.
While you’re waiting, maybe you could answer a question of mine;

What’s a ‘Sanctuary City’???

I keep hearing reference to them during stories about illegals, but can’t figure out what it means.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanctuary_city
That can’t possibly be it, because archiewhittaker -who clearly is more knowledgeable about ALL things California than myself, Bell Roberts or DoubleDuce - has been telling us that illegals get deported from California, yet San Fransisco, Los Angeles and San Diego are all listed as ‘Sanctuary Cities’.

I’m confused.
“has been telling us that illegals get deported from California”

yep, I sure said that, and it sure is true. I haven’t said a word about those 3 cities, though. Still confused? May I suggest some more minerals in your diet?
What do the first two letters in LAPD stand for?

Seems like you’re the one suffering from a mineral difficiency.

A wall is a wall and does it job with no backlash.

If we used troops and drones, we would have court cases all day long and enforcement personnel getting the shaft for enforcing the law.

No deficiency here. I mentioned El Centro, and the LAPD’s behavior. Why don’t you find something else to call me out on, there’s plenty of good stuff on Page 1.

Archie,

Do you know where El Centro is? It is off the 8 freeway… IN SAN DIEGO. Why are you referencing the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department, so Cremaster is up to speed). Immigration policies differ from city to city, here in Los Angeles we have what is called Special Order 40. LAPD cannot ask immigration status when arresting someone. Read it, learn it, hate it.

PS - El Centro is 238 miles from Los Angeles, way to go Archie, you nearly went outside the state and damn near the country with your geography FAIL.

I like it and agree , except mine field

That is the same policy Phx PD goes by

Which is why you have the same problem we do.

I was being sarcastic with the mine field. Maybe a cheap solution but not practicle by any stretch of the imaginantion.

Yeah, because odds are, you’d just maim some, then we have to foot the bill for their “free” health care.

A wall would stop a few , we have had accounts of trucks that have ramps built on both sides meeting at GPS coordinates and then convoys of trucks crossing over the border , it is call organized crime .

There is supposed to be a way that you can drive from Mexico to Phoenix with out ever driving on road. If it is true it should be monitored

You would have had to foot the bill anytime since I can remember. I believe there is no way to refuse emergency health care to anyone .

But these steps would have to be in permanent implementation and could end up costing more to the state than what illegals cost now. We’d just be cutting our nose off to spite our face.

Boots on the ground. If you want to effectively stop illegals from coming over the border. You put troops in the ground, with technology to efficiently handle the situation. If you get a chance, you should see Border Wars, some crazy shit. Infrared cameras, underground motion sensors, night vision goggles with Black Hawk helicopters.

Which is why I was making the case that it wouldn’t be cost effective.

Pittbull, are you under some slow process of conversion here? You know your liberal buddies would string you up if they caught you talking or hell even thinking like this. In any event you have at least shown yourself to have a brain and are capable of thinking rational. I guess we need to keep giving you the information and ideas to learn with and in time you will see things for what they are.

It would be if you can prevent them from getting here. If you can stop them from getting to this country club, then they cannot access all the benefits. And we all know what happens when you let anyone and everyone into the country club, it goes to total shit.
