JMac31's Quest to Dunk

Meant to write try speeding up the first couple of steps before the jump, which I guess technically are the last couple of steps. Point was be more aggressive in your approach. Getting that down alone should add an inch or two, and getting stronger and more comfortable should slowly take care of the rest. You’ll be dunking in no time, bud.

I figured you where talking about the last few steps right before the jump anyways. Since that is exactly what I have been working on.

How’s your training been? Hope the knee is holding up!

Glad you caught that. Re-read it and thought I explained it like an idiot, haha. Training’s goin’well, thanks. My last knee tear (#3) was summer of ‘13 and I’ve spent the last year just focusing on strength and mobility. Played a couple of games of 21 last week after doing legs wearing running shoes with no knee braces and was actually moving pretty well. No dunks but grabbed the rim with two hands off of one step a couple of times and had one rim grab from a standstill. Was pretty encouraging. Thinking about easing into maybe playing once a week to see how I hold up ‘cause I really miss hoopin’, man. Keep killin’ it mane.
