Well, that sucks. How about French, German, Irish guys? We scoring alright? I’d imagine the German side would give me a boost, but the Irish side would drag me down, neutralizing any advantage. Doesn’t matter, the french side would make me surrender half way through the test, anyways.

No, Sloth, you have nothing to worry about: heritage is not destiny.

TT and ReignIB get a point: there is no jiggering of the IQ test to methodically favor one “group” over another over time, unless it was the well-hidden efforts of some at Stanford and Princeton to erase the Ashkenazi difference.

But kamui does not see the point. When I asked for sources for his opinion, his response, “Which opinion?” revealed his own little prejudice, that Jews had somehow, whether as individuals or as a corporate presence in science, altered the IQ test, secretly and malevolently, for their own nefarious ends. No source is necessary, it is no opinion, but self-evident fact, as kamui might have it. What could be more obvious? But the attribution to a group of malevolent intent, without any basis in examined fact, is prejudice, and in this case it happens to be anti-Semitism.

Kamui’s prejudice is so smooth, so genteel–after all, he is a high school teacher and soi-disant rationalist and well-educated man–that it pales beside the mindless rants of Rohnyn or method-man, either of whom may be responsible for the Ashkenazi difference by simply shifting the IQ curve so far to the left that everyone looks like a genius in comparison.

(Incidentally, the comparatively few Jews involved in the slave trade–and in 16th century piracy for that matter–were Sephardim and crypto-Jews, consigned to the corners of trade not prohibited them directly.)

Irish drag you down? Depends if it’s diaspora Irish or not. If you don’t actually live in Ireland then you’re descended from people who actually had the brains to leave the fucking place basically. There’s a good quote about that but I can’t remember it. Ireland used to be known as ‘the land of saints and scholars’ but there’s been a brain drain going on there for centuries.

Now back to these reparations. Anyone descended from any kind of Jew, Sephardic, crypto or otherwise along with anyone descended from the British(Englishmen and Scotch Protestants mostly) will have to pay up. If you’re half Irish it cancels things out. Any kind of Arab or African will also have to pay up big time.

I want a large government department with a vast and extremely inefficient bureaucracy called ‘The Department of Irish Australian Relations’ or something like that too.
