Jatenzo work as well as injections?

Just a silly question. Is Jatenzo ( oral test ) as effective as injections? Does it still turn off normal production including DHEA , Pregenolone , etc.etc. I am getting a little done with daily IM injections ( can’t do Sub Q becasue im a weirdo and it makes me feel like shit ) .

Systemlord i know uses from previous posts, and would love for him to chime in. Thank you !

Depends what you mean by “effective”. Is it mg for mg more efficient? No, not even close.

Can you get your TT just as high at injections? Sure, but you’re gonna take hundreds of mg a day when you could take say 20mg of injected cypionate.

My issue is I probably need daily injections for E2 issues. However, I can’t do Sub Q as I am a weirdo and Aromatise even higher with Sub Q even at small doses. I am considering either cream , oral Jatenzo , or just suck it up and use AI sparingly.

I don’t know if Jatenzo is more effective, but it does have less side effects. The efficiency profiles is very good as far as comparing erectile quality, strength, libido and muscle mass to those injections.

There was only a very small percentage of men in the clinical trials that experienced secondary erythrocytosis, great for those men having issues controlling their hemoglobin and hematocrit.

If anything, Jatenzo will affect these upstream, downstream hormones to a lesser extent. Jatenzo will Suppress SHBG by up to 40%. Also, you’ll see higher serum DHT versus injections.

How about estrogen control ? It seems like this is a winner across the board in many ways. I like that nerosteroids will be improved and DHT with Jatenzo. I honeslty feel like the only time ive felt really good on TRT was in the beginning when natural wasn’t shut down.

I wouldn’t know, but my estrogen was 18 the last time I checked with a total testosterone at 592 → midpoint. I was taking daily Cialis so that may have been a factor.

I’m still at a total testosterone of 406 at the 9 hour mark, making my peak testosterone higher (1000>) than that, then in the PK profile shown above. I reckon the reason for that is the increased fat consumption from the carnivore diet.

Jatenzo is absorbed in the small intestine via fat. There was a 25% difference in free testosterone levels achieved with 15 g of fat versus 32 g of fat.

Me too. I think you should give Jatenzo a try! The recommended starting dosage is 237 mg twice daily. The majority in the clinical trial required 237 mg twice daily or more to reach therapeutic levels.

You’ll reach a steady state in 7 days. It’s a lot more pleasant than waiting for the 4-6 weeks on injections for levels to become steady!

As far as my results on Jatenzo, have a look for yourself. I’ve actually put on a bit more muscle since that last post update. A bit more size and muscle tone.

I’m going to talk to doc . Called insurance and it’s covered at 100%. Seems like a win win . I’m not loving Trt at this current time at all , especially not like in the beginning .

What dose are you taking ? Any hct issues ? What pros cons would you say since changing to oral ?

237 mg twice a day. I always take my Jatenzo with a spoonful of organic peanut butter because of the fat content. You could take your Jatenzo with cooking oil if you wanted to.

I consume cooking oil (due to the fat content) with my vitamin D supplements.

I can’t say for sure because recently found out I feel better without taking my iron supplements. I have been taking a moderately large dose for three years which did affect my hematocrit and hemoglobin.

Now that I’m off my iron supplements, my ferritin levels are dropping into the low normal range, so I don’t foresee any issues with my hematocrit and hemoglobin levels.

I imagine my ferritin levels need to be between 40 and 50. A ferritin level of 78 (current level) causes mild symptoms of excess iron, same symptoms as taking the iron supplement, only not as bad.

If I eat something with a lot of iron in it (ribeye steak), the symptoms of excess iron come back for a couple hours. It would seem the lower my ferritin levels, the better I feel.

I can’t think of one cons, only pros.
