That is actually blasphemy!!
The guy on Gotham did an amazing job of the Joker. Watch this scene where he transforms himself from a geeky mild, if creepy, guy to the Joker, just by the use of his facial expressions:

He’s not their joker the series writers said early on that there would be a bunch of possible jokers, the red hood episode had one and the first episode st fish mooneys there was a comedian who was a homage to the killing joke

I’m sure most of you guys saw the pic on social media a week or so ago with Leto sporting the short green hair, banged up teeth, and tatted here n there.
Personally, I thought it looked pretty damn good when compared to certain comic book incarnations of the character.

He is 43? Damn I did not know that.
I was surprised at that fact as well. The guy looks like he’s in his late 20s!

Makes sense. He was in that show My So Called Life in the early to mid 90’s.
You can’t have a star in a face for any length of time on screen with them constantly tearing it off because they are out of breath, they need to see better, they want to emote, etc.

Oh, can’t you?
What’ his name isn’t really a star though (Karl urban, right?).
What would you call an actor in the title role of a major motion picture?

Sad that this is the Suicide Squad team that comes to mind when I think of the Suicide Squad. Sadder still that 5 of the 8 characters on the cover are in that group pic you posted. Try to match them up, not so easy.

Great we’ve got slut Harley who thinks she’s a baseball fury from warriors
Agreed. It was that Arkham game that ruined Harley. Now she is poor man’s Deadpool clown whore.
I don’t know any medium other than comics that get adapted to something else (TV, movie, video game, etc) and then the original medium gets changed to match the adaptation.
It would be like them going back and changing the book ending to Fight Club to match what happened in the film.

What do you have against sluts?
Nothing against sluts, it’s the only way I get laid, however I do have an issue when they take a character and strictly for fan service turn her into something she’s not.

I have to agree; Arkham’s redesign of Harley made me hate the character. I am biased since I loved the animated series as a kid, and I realize a perfectly accurate recreation of that costume for the movie would be a little hard to pull off (especially in the “gritty realism” DC movie universe). However, I think they could have modified it to add a more realistic appearance while preserving her harlequin theme…instead of giving us a cotton candy Hooter’s waitress.
