Jamie Foxx Pwns Another

Lame move on Jamie’s part.

Then again, I’ve never really liked his movies.

He did it to a lot of the other people at the Roast, Williams should have been prepared for a heckler.

It was a lame move regardless of whether or not Williams “should have been prepared” - even if he did manage to shut him down, it still would have been a lame move by Foxx (with “pathetic” to boot).

It would have been OK if he just left it at the sarcastic, “Thank God I got in Ali!”, but he instead decided he would just take over the stage.

It is a roast - you get the mic, and it is your turn to…roast people. It was his turn, regardless of whether or not he did well. Jamie should have shown a fellow comedian a little respect and waited until he got back on the mic. Instead, he tries to humiliate the guy (outside of the usual good-spirited jabs typical of a roast) because he got his feelings hurt over a shot at his acting career.

Heckling is always a sign of disrespect to a performer, regardless of whether or not it is funny. It can be a good time when it’s between two buddies, but when it gets to the point where you are just taking over another guy’s act…that’s just being a douche. I would have expected better from a fellow comedian. Running all over other people’s acts at the roast doesn’t make it any better, either.

I mean, it’s not like the guy was doing any damage, to begin with.[/quote]

Well said.

OK, this thread is getting all serious on me. Just laugh at the poor guy already!

I’m too busy laughing at WolBarret’s avatar. Another classic.

What most people don’t realize is that this one is actually one of his home movies.

He’s the sheep.

You just keep starting trouble.

I try. I really do.

Just so everyone knows, I’m gonna be changing my avatar soon. Probably within 2-3 hours of this post. I’m trying to decide between moving breasts or something funny.

Jamie Foxx pwns all!

F the Haters!

I suggest an offensively funny avatar. Like this one.

I’ll take that under advisement. Why don’t you change yours for a chance, Mak?

I need to find an animated Frank Zane.

EDIT: And if you think wayyy back, my avatar used to be Peter Griffin dressed as a hooker.

Almost 4000 actually. I’ve only had like 3 avatars.

Damn Mak. Doesn’t that get old? Same avatar night after night after night. I’d lose my mind.

See, I don’t have to worry about commitment or responsibility. I find me a nice looking avatar, grab it, post it up, and then leave it within the week. That’s how I do.

I’m fully committed to my avatar.

No homo.

I have seen that clip before and didn’t find it funny. I just felt sorry for the guy. He sucked at comedy, but that treatment was over the top

There was something very pathological about the whole thing. Most of what Jamie said wasn’t even at all witty anyway.

Those two may have been enemies since grade school for all we know.
