Much appreciated. I reason that if I can get my back and legs big enough I will at least place decently in novice class if I compete next May, even if I don’t have the time needed to develop freaky-ass arms. Of course goal is for everything to get much bigger as always.
No reason you can’t run it BBB style, ie. 5/3/1 benching on one day and then a 5x10 bench later on in the week. It is what it is mayne.

I only made progress with my benching because I would just do it till I literally could move anymore, twice a week. Start a session with some heavy stuff and then take it down to a few super sets. It works. A strong goal is 5x10 with 100 kilos, then work from a good foundation like that.
