Back in the saddle starting light and looking for big things. Some milestones to hit this year:
600 deadlift
350 bench press
600 squat
Do a geared meet in my own equipment
January 7th (all no belt unless specified)
Deadlifts 310x5, 360x5, 405x8 (had more, but didn’t want to push it yet)
Reverse Band Rack Pulls (knee) 495x10, 545x10, 585x10, (add belt) 635x5
Hanging Leg Raises BWx10, 10, 10 (with glute squeeze)

Not squatting for 2 months and then squatting equals bad squats and sore legs…

haha yea i hear ya, you looking forward to second semester?
Well, I took a hiatus for quite a while… I feel pretty weak right now, but strength is coming back. I’ve been doing quite a bit of volume for deadlifts. I’ll update soon with what I am doing and how it is going.
I have some renewed goals to chase after. Namely: Squat 600, Bench 365, and Deadlift 635 -or- a 1600 lb total how ever that might look. Also this year I’d like to do a geared meet.
Those goals may take me a while to get to, but they are definitely achievable. I was close to most of them last fall, but training had to take a back seat for a little while.

Going to have to decide my goals first, but it is high time I was training with purpose again.
