Jackson also nails Obama on his (Obama’s) elitism. He talks down to black people and to working class whites. The Great Messiah, huh?
Barack’s white half to his black half: “You are here to get me elected. Don’t you get uppity! Your purpose is to get black votes and votes from ‘guilty’ whites.”

This is a stretch, but is it possible this was set up?
Perhaps to allow Obama to condemn a polarizing figure like Jackson and thus soften some of the perception of his own radicalism? Jackson is one of the most disgraceful figures in the country’s public history and will do anything for a buck or minute of fame so I wouldn’t put anything at all past him.

Maybe too far-fetched eh?
That was my first thought when I heard it last night. I doubt it, but you never know with politics.
I completely agree…Obama’s a complete fraud. People used to say that bill clinton was ‘the black president’. But then you look at his record and he cut more programs that help impoverished minorities than any president. (just for the record I liked bill clinton). You have the same thing here. You think Obama’s going to help the poor african american’s that are voting for him?? He’s accepted more wallstreet money than romney had at any point on any day of the campaign when both men were still in it. He’s corporate america’s candidate, in a pleasing african-american shell that’ll help him garner more votes.

Yeah…and Fox is orchestrating it.
Gimme a break!
Fuck you.
You are one of the few people on here I won’t give decent treatment to, for a lot of reasons. Im surprised at myself for even typing this much of a response.
It was just something to throw out there. So what if it is FOX? I would trust any news agency about as much as I would trust you or your jihadi brethren.

Jesse Jackson’s a moron. Personal Responsibility. One of the smarter things Obama’s said. Too bad it’s disingenuous. And that he’s generally as disingenuous or moreso than any other politician, but couches in in ‘inspiring’ language.

JJ takes orders from Fox? How do you figure?

Lixy is implying that Fox doctored the tapes to make it seem Jackson said that. Otherwise his statement makes absolutely no sense whatsover, as usual.

JD sees some elaborate conspiracy whereby the instigators are helping Obama distance himself from Jackson. Seeing how Fox broke the story, it makes this far-fetched scenario even more absurd.
-Headhunter I love that photo of Obama that you posted. I wonder how many times we’ll see it, or one like it, before November. Plenty I hope.
-Lorisco good post, but remember facts mean very little in this politically correct age that we live in. In fact, many on this board will attack you for posting facts like that. They might even call you a racist. I mean…how dare you tell the truth?
-Jesse Jackson is perhaps is second only to Al Sharpton on the scum list. If Obama is smart he’ll distance himself from this asshole.
-By the way how jealous do you think Jesse is?
I posted that to show how right Obama is for speaking to the black community regarding personal responsibility. Also it is people like Jesse who make excuses and blame others that perpetuate these problems.
Jesse typifies what is wrong with the black community and Obama seems to demonstrate what is right.
