Reminiscent gym session today, training at my childhood gym with my old gym buddy so got a video of today’s 275kg (605 for the Muricans) deadlift courtesy of said bro.

Damn, that flew up. Nice lift! Happy New Year man.

I’m Canadian, but also appreciated the conversion. I wouldn’t have given a shit about a 275kg deadlift, but I’m very impressed about this 605lb deadlift lol

Your traps are pretty insane man. You look crazy in that back shot

Thanks man, spent ages focusing on my back after spending my first 2-3 years training like a proper beach bro. Chest, biceps and abs everyday split!

I think the traps is due to doing heavy band pull aparts between every pressing set, I don’t train them directly with anything else.

Pretty interesting, I used to do 100 Pull-Aparts a day after reading a DeFranco article. Sadly, all it gave me was pain around T6.

Muscular pain or ‘bad’ pain? Can’t imagine how it could cause a problem?

I just had aweful posture and bad shoulders after my time as a beach body bro do needed correction. Worked wonders so I kept it up. Saves me having to do mind numbing rear delt and direct trap work too so bonus.

Started off as severe DOMS which then progressed to what felt like some funky curving in my spine. Hasn’t felt right since

Its the gym at the local university so there are a ton of serious lifters, mostly olympic lifts but still a great environment.

Unfortunately it was only an accessory workout today but ill test the stuff out properly tomorrow.

I just come up with my own names for the sake of reference. I’d call them chest supported barbell rows. Pretty creative, right?

Seal Row?

Great minds think alike. Exactly what I wrote down.

But the Guinepig comes in with the winner. Thats the one I was after.
