Agreed. I’m glad he recovered, but the touch with death does appear to have cowed the man somewhat. I’m sure that’s true for us all though.
I’m an RA for a professor at Carnegie Mellon who’s doing behavioural research regarding COVID. We recently wrapped up a nationally representative (US) survey study:
For each of the behaviors (social distancing guidelines, mask wearing), perceived effectiveness is the strongest predictor and descriptive norms and anxiety are moderate predictors.
Personal experience with Covid-19 risk and perceptions of disease incidence in the local environment are generally not predictive after controlling for the other variables,
Probably not.
One of her rant days had her comparing data from ICELAND of all places.
I certainly am far from being an epidemiologist; but I doubt that you can even compare data from part of one borough in New York City to all of Iceland with any reliability and accuracy.

This one is probably the least understandable of all of the conspiracy theories.
This Republic will survive and move on from anyone occupying the White House. So I am to believe that there are individuals willing to destroy an economy and our way of Life simply to deny a narcissistic poser and fraud like Trump a second Term?
Unbelievable.

These are certainly different sports with different challenges; but I think the NFL is looking for at least some kind of blueprint to follow.
It was a bit of a rhetorical question sadly.
A big issue isn’t empty stadiums. That might be out of their control anyway as the government will decide when huge gatherings of people will be allowed. The issue is what happens if a player tests positive. Do you just quarantine the player or the whole team? What if several players on a team test positive? That could be an issue if they are starters.
Well, not if you’re in Korea…
