It's a Good Thing

Look what a team can do without the threat of being imprisoned, castrated, beaten, and electrocuted.

Good Story.

This cracks me up.

“In a metaphor for what defines the Olympics and a country, the only Kurdish player […] assisted […] a Shiite. […] it was a signal to people back home that one’s faith did not matter.”

But he’s the ONLY Kurdish player on the team, so he had to assist someone who wasn’t a Kurd. Doesn’t sound like much of a signal to me.

And in other news, President Bush breathed today, as a signal to the environmental lobby that he believes clean air is important.

Give me a fucking break.
