Yeah come on guys! How about that health care plan that the American people did not want (that also had all those other provisions sneakily attached to it)?

That bill had partisan support and bipartisan opposition, yet it is still being hailed as a victory for the administration and the American people.

And that stimulus package that what (correct me if i’m wrong but)…only 3 moderate republicans voted for?

Oh yeah, he also put a good bit of strain on American-Israeli relations there as well.

He has gotten a good bit done for being so bad, pitbull you are correct.
This is the biggest problem I have with libs. The assumption that any form of “doing” is good.

Funny, because the military manages to suck up billions. That’d be the first thing I cut if I wanted to reduce the budget.

4: Drop this absurd attempt at socialist hc and refocus on efforts that would actually reduce costs… i.e. Holding people accountable for their choices, encouraging fitness and weight control, tort reform, deny all but life saving treatment to illegals.
This is just delusional. Not even close to reality.

Cutting the military budget wouldn’t make us solvent. How many times does this have to be repeated? We can’t avoid entitlement cuts, folks! We won’t even be able to afford a military to cut!

The biggest problems I have with people that think they are conservative is they think conservative means cut any program that could help the least advantaged of society. Nothing about real value

IMO America has been coddling Israel too long. We have no reason to kiss their ass.

As far as health care if left to a popular vote I bet it would win. Just my opinion. The Republicans could have made it a much better bill but they could not get credit for it if the Socialist had anything to do with it. I wonder what the so called conservatives would say if it won a popular vote .
Valor wrote:

Call me whatever you want, but I say fuck this, and fuck them. The more life saving treatments that go to them, the more taxpayers have to pay, and (likely) the less life saving treatments that can be afforded to people who actually matter in this country.

It would fail if put up to a vote. 60% want to repeal this, 46% are strongly against this bill.

That is 46% of all voters I can guarantee will make it out to the vote. We are seeing the people vote for it right now when it comes to our congressmen. Even the democrats are running on anti obamacare.

I’m not a conservative and a vast majority of Americans opposed the bill. Not only would it not pass, but currently 60% (to 36%) favor repeal.

You know as well as I do that it depends on who takes the survey. I was polled about ten years ago. The caller said do you favor a 1% tax increase or a %5 tax increase. I said I do not favor a tax increase. They said then we can not use you in the poll. The next night on evening news I heard that the majority of Scottsdale residents prefer a %1 tax increase
