One of the “retarded apes” at the gym I go to finally hurt somebody, to bad it was A guy I was helping train.
These are the guys you see lift nothing but upper body, they can bench more than they can squat, niether of which are impressive.
My guy was doing flatbench first set he didn’t warm up and they “helped” him put more weight on than normal, and told him his grip was all wrong, he should go really wide.
they I guess spoted him like SHIT and he ended up going to the ER, he has a blown rotater cuff and tendon damage.
my guy had only been training 4weeks.
They should have left him Alone, and gone and done some leg movements!
Damn dirty “retarded apes”
There was this really sweet old man in his 70’s that came to my old gym. He had had a bad heart attack and was prescribed weight training by his doctor as part of his rehabilitation. Also, from chatting with him I found out he wanted to build bone density in order to prevent breaking his hip like many elderly people do.
Anyway, the big know-it-all guy at the gym was talking to the elderly fellow one day and ended up putting big ex’s through his program and loudly proclaiming that it was crap. Then he put him on a new high intensity, super heavy, grunting and making yourself puke program that would have been awesome for a 30 year old looking to build large amounts of muscle. The poor old man tried so hard to do the program. He would limp around wheezing and shaking and drenched with sweat. The whole situation made myself and a few others extremely nervous. Poor guy.
I cannot believe how irresponsible some people are.
