Israeli Strike Kills Hamas Leader

The saga continues…

A reminder that this is fucked from every angle.

So, what’s your tie to Israel? What do you really care what our relations with them are? And turn his back? I’m pretty sure that they are still getting military aid which is what counts much more than words.

Me, I think we should cut off all aid with all Middle Eastern nations and be truly neutral there. We should conduct trade as we would normally without providing anyone favors. Whether or not Israel exists doesn’t really matter to the U.S. and I’m not trying to be a dick about it. What really matters to us are the oil fields and luckily there’s stable governments that oversee those.

And you didn’t answer my question. Instead you make the claim that if I don’t understand Israel’s importance that I’m stupid. Why don’t you answer the question or can’t you?

Funny you left out Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Kuwait and that’s only the ME. There’s also Norway, the U.S., and Canada.

So it’s OK when people post up crap from right wing thinkers but when someone posts crap from a liberal then it’s suddenly a face palm moment?

lol. Yeah, clitorectomys are pretty common everywhere. FACEPALM

Right. Cos it’s got NOTHING to do with the incredible increase in jihad over the last several decades.
Not a thing…
Nor does it have anything to do with the random rocket attacks fired on Israeli civilians. Israel is just mean.

In the real world, this thing is escalating, big time. Israel just activated 75,000 reservists. Ground invasion is possible. It may be time to end this thing once and for all. Get rid of Hamas.

We’re getting a new grandbaby* and some cousins to take care of. My first wife’s aunt (who is like an in-law of an in-law, as this is my second wife) is flying with her kids and my grandaughter to Florida Sunday to come live with us.

I hope that your daughters and other family stay safe.

And you, too, with a new grand baby to take care of!
Same here. Stay safe.

No, it’s a reminder that:

Hamas puts the Fajr-5 missile launch pads in the heavily populated Zeitoun district of Gaza, right by a kids’ playground, mosques, etc., knowing they can launch missles and either be protected by Israel’s reluctance to permit collateral causalties (because the Israelis are decent people) or, better yet, kids get killed so they can win propaganda points by using a media that will intentionally lie for them.

and

Hamas intnetionally targets playgrounds and the like in Israel because their goal is terror.

The situation is “fucked” because Hamas targets children or uses children as human shields.

There is one terror actor here, and it’s not Israel.

That’s right.

Israel is not on a carpet bombing campaign. The targets are just too embedded into the non-combatant population to avoid collateral damage.

It’s Win-Win for Hamas, and Lose-Lose for Israel.

I fully understand and support Israel in this and many other conflicts. I’m no Hamas sympathizer and if rockets were raining down on my civilian population I’d wipe the shooters off the face of the earth.

A dead kid is still a dead kid. That’s the point. Support for one side and blame for the other does not preclude sadness at the death of a little boy.

It’s just disappointing how prejudiced and closed minded people are.

Amber Warning Amber Warning! A man with brown skin and a beard has been walking with a rucksack…

And it’s amusing how Americans are so quick to put Muslims and Arabs down, when 60 years ago a Black person couldn’t even sit next to a white person on the bus or use the same toilet as one.
My next door neighbors growing up as a kid were Muslim, and they were some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met in my life. Unfortunately though in middle Eastern countries most Muslims aren’t like my next door neighbors here in America. They’re obviously not all bad, but there’s a disturbingly high percentage of them who hold fucking dangerous ideals.

It also has nothing to do with their skin color, so you can stop insulting the intelligence of people on this forum by trying to create that argument. Do you think most Americans are racist? Am I a racist? I wasn’t even alive 60 years ago. I’m not interested in Arabs or Muslims just because they are what they are. I’m interested in people who want to destroy my way of life, and there is a correlation. If you think there’s no correlation, you aren’t championing racial equality, you’re simply wrong.
Not necessarily. Look at a place like Afghanistan. If people in a village support the foreigners then they’re siding with infidels, if they support the Taliban a drone might very well be sending a missile up their ass. Either way it’s a lose lose situation for them. There’s however going to be more longevity with the Taliban and the Taliban isn’t bound by any ROE or codes of conduct. It’s not hard to believe people support something that’s convenient for them rather than what they actually believe, it happens all the time over here.

 3. Israelis invent things like, say, mobile phones, the cure for polio, and cures for all sorts of cancer that make the world better.

 4. It’s their fucking country, and has been despite the revisionist bullshit.

 5. Never had any Jews shoot at me, although my future father-in-law might one day. Muslims, on the other hand, have shot at me more than a bit. Blew me up, too. I tend to remember getting blown up and burned. Take it personal.

 6. Jews don’t cut out girls’ clits or throw acid on their kids’ faces for listening to rock music or dating boys.

 7. Jews may not eat pork, but could give a shit if I do.

 8. Jews (unless you are trying to marry their daughter) don’t give a shit what religion you are and don’t threaten to cut off your head if you don’t convert.

 9. The Israelis are happy to have the arabs live in Gaza and the West Bank, provided said arabs don’t lob missles at them. The arabs, in contrast, demand all the Jews die, and refuse to live in peace.

 10. Jews don’t treat their daughters like property.

 11. Jews don’t have special taxes for non-Jews in Israel or have laws that discriminate against them.

 12. You can read a bible in Israel, or a koran, or wipe your ass with the Torah, and nothing will happen to you. You burn a koran and a bunch of muslims act like assholes and kill people. You take a Bible to a muslim country and you can be put in prison.

 13. You can convert from Judaism in Israel and you are fine. You try to convert from Islam in a muslim country and they kill you.

 14. You can go to church in Israel and they will be respectful and nice. You try to go to church in Saudi Arabia and they throw you in prison.

 15. Someone may or may not make a movie about mohammed and muslims all over blow a gasket. You make a movie about Moses and the Jews may or may not go to it.

And the list go on and on.
Those are all pretty weak reasons.

You’re going to support a country merely because they treat their people well and didn’t fly a plane into our buildings? We do a little bit of trade with China and they treat much of their population like shit. The “didn’t send a plane into our buildings” club is also pretty big.

You also volunteered to get shot at. I’m not saying it wasn’t the right thing to do but those of us who serve here do so voluntarily. How do you feel about the Japanese? Or the Germans? What about the Chinese? All of them have shot at Americans but are now either allies or trading partners.

Nobody in Muslim countries gives a shit if you eat pork or not.

What you’re essentially saying is that we’re pro-Israel because they are like us.
