Islamic Terror Won't Go Away

The problem is that raj doesn’t know realize which category he (and his Beloved Leader) fall into.

We have good times right now. For the relatively small price of putting in eight hours of work daily (not even hard labor) I have a nice apartment, food on the table, a membership to a very nice gym, a relatively new car…things are fucking fine for most people who go outside and talk to other people, stop to enjoy a ballgame or a movie, etc (admittedly, I am not sure that raj ever goes outside - he might be scared of teh Muslimz - which could explain a few things). Could we improve on a few things? Absolutely. Is the sky falling? No, it isn’t. Not most places, anyway.

Do you have any idea how hard your ancestors worked so you could have these things?

DO you understand these gifts can be taken away as easily as they were given?

You’re such a fucking clown. I have literally put a uniform on so your dumb ass could come to this country and lower her IQ.

It was stupid when you posted it earlier and, shocker, it’s still stupid.

Just to be clear, you’re talking about the same ancestors who led off the First Amendment by stating that the government “shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” - correct?

Struck a nerve? Good

No it stretches much further back than that. The hundreds of years of European philosophy that came before that and wars fought to preserve that thought.

I’m not sure what’s more comical, the fact that you’re a complete fucking moron and your posts are comedy gold or that you actually think I give a single fuck about what you think of me.

In short, no, you didn’t strike a nerve because I’ve actually done shit in my life.

Man, I fucking love you.

Muslims have quite literally killed people of my background by the millions for centuries and continue to persecute religious minorities in their countries.

Whatever respect you think you’re owed for serving in the military is cancelled out by the policies you support that put my wellbeing and everyone I care about in danger.

Not only have Europeans been responsible for more killings of your people than Muslims, but they also continue to persecute religious minorities in their countries.

Weird huh?

That’s not even remotely true. WTF are you talking about?

Muslims ruled over Indians for 800 years before the British took over.

Going from Muslim rule to British rule is like going from maximum security prison to minimum security white collar prison.

I was referring to white supremacists, but whatever floats your boat.

You know what, I don’t even give a shit anymore. This is fucking retarded.

Have a good life @therajraj.

I admit changing the Holy Book will result in a increase of terror attacks out of anger. However those who change to the new book i.e.:

  • Women fed up with the whole worth less than a man thing
  • Non-radical (sane) Muslims who want to co-exist

Those who don’t change will likely be possible radicals like the Westminster Attacker and others. They should be dealt with as possible threats to the state as they are. Those who don’t swap to the new book will be alerting everyone that they cannot co-exist with the West.
This is just my solution out of others I have thought of. It will allow the potential extremists to be identified and dealt with by whatever means.

My view is that if there is a problem, you find a solution.

I don’t agree with twiddling our thumbs waiting for more inevitable attacks to happen.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but you need to read up on Indian history - specifically the pre-Raj relationship between the Mughals and Marathas.

That means less obsession with Indian Waffen SS volunteers and more focus on Indian history in general .

I wrote this about a year ago in regards to defeating radicalism:

The first thing we need to do is to revisit our founding fathers vision of liberty for all. Over the course of the last 240 years, we have made incredible strides towards freedom for all Americans in the form of emancipation, the Civil Rights movement and subsequent Acts, and women’s suffrage just to name a few.

Unfortunately, we have also taken numerous steps back. Full body scanners at the airport, security lines to visit memorials (such as the 9/11 memorial), “Assault” weapon bans, and gun free zones are prime examples of this. All of these measures, I do believe, were born from genuine concern for the safety of Americans, but at what cost?

The right to keep and bear arms is an extremely important constitutional right built upon the natural right of self-defense.

Madison listed it second because of its importance as many of the founders understood the constitution and thus the Republic would only last as long as the people had the means and fortitude to protect it.

Being forced to remove a third of your clothes, be essentially X-Rayed in HD, and subjected to purposeful or “random” additional screening i.e. pat downs are anathema to liberty.

This is just one example where we’ve lost essential liberty for the sake of temporary and often time’s inadequate security.

I honestly believe if the average person sat down and really thought about the number of ways we’ve given up our liberty to our Federal, State, and local governments they would be appalled. At 18 I joined the Marine Corps, but I could not buy a beer. My little brother deployed to Iraq, twice, but could not buy a handgun for his own personal defense. As a tax paying Marylander, not only do I have to register my personal vehicle with the state, but I have to pay them close to $200 every other year to drive my car to work. I am required by law to have health insurance or I have to pay an additional tax. There are hundred, probably thousands, of examples.

We must take back our liberty. It is the first step towards adequately securing ourselves and our persons from harm. Islamic fundamentalists, the Zarqawi’s of the world, they want us to give up our liberty. They hate us for our freedom because their fanatical views don’t allow it for themselves. The first and easiest step we can take to defeat radicalism is to be free.

The second thing we need to do is re-establish the role security plays in our everyday lives. More specifically we need to accept that our freedom and our safety is our individual responsibility first and foremost. It is not the collective’s responsibility be it in the form of centrally planned military or even local law enforcement. The security buck stops with each of us.

This goes hand in hand with restoring essential liberty. Adults, both men, and women need to take responsibility for their own safety. This can be done using non-lethal measure, such as pepper spray if that is what you prefer, but as it stands being armed is the current best way to defend one’s self.

This may not be popular, but I do still believe in the notion that the man of a house is ultimately responsible for the safety of his household. At the very minimum, this means to me, that every adult male has the responsibility to be trained, equipped, and prepared to defend his family and his property. Somewhere along the line, we lost this mentality. Instead, we (men) have shirked our responsibility onto agents of the state. In most cases very good men who serve their community as Sheriffs and Police Officers to the best of their abilities, but they are reactive in nature. You cannot rely on the police for protection in a moment’s notice. It’s unreasonable and illogical to think that you can. Personal safety is our responsibility.

This means we need to eliminate infringements on the 2A. Note, I am not advocating for the abandonment of due diligence measures. I think it’s important to maintain the screening process to preclude violent felons from easy access to firearms for example. The gunman that killed and injured so many in Florida passed his background check despite previously being questioned by the FBI and the current administration received a warning about an impending attack by ISIS and did nothing. This is unacceptable and, as a side note is a prime example of why security will always fall to the individual. We’ve given up our liberty for state security and they failed in this case. Again, note, I am not blaming the FBI or the administration for these failures. Government(s) is simply limited in what it can do both from an intelligence perspective to proactively prevent atrocities and reactively to stop them once they begin.
This also means we need to take the time to learn the skills necessary to defend ourselves. This means learning to properly work and maintain our firearms and continually training to hone our skills. This also means being physically prepared to defend one’s self. Yes, this means exercising more than just your mouth and fingers.

The third and likely least popular suggestion I will make is to hunt down and destroying ISIS where they live. This means gearing up, going house to house, and killing insurgents. This means eliminating the self-proclaimed ISIL Caliphate and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi now not later. This means spilling American blood and spending American treasure, again, with boots on the ground in Iraq, Syria, and other Middle Eastern and African States as necessary. This means supporting Muslims will to fight alongside us, like King Abdullah II and his Jordanian military and intelligence operations.
It’s asking a lot, I know, but it needs to be done. The time has passed where we can withdrawal from the world isolated by the Atlantic and the Pacific. The world is simply too small for such a strategy to work and we know, historically, it’s not a viable option. What happens in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia affect us in numerous ways even more so now than ever before.

We are not the world’s police, but we are a part of this world and we must accept that what happens in other parts of the world affects us. We also need to accept that we are partially to blame for the rise of ISIS when we chose to depose Saddam Hussein. That is not to say his removal was not justified, but we need to own the consequences of our actions. We also need to accept that certain events are outside of our control, but we still have to deal with the consequences. The Arab Spring is a prime example of this, as it was a chain of events that gave rise to AQI’s replacement, ISIS, in Iraq and Syria. Our handling of Bashar Al-Assad in Syria has been inadequate, but we cannot know what his removal would have changed certainly as it relates to our relations with Russia who blocked UN action against Al-Assad at every opportunity. At the same time, our actions in Libya, as it related to Muammar Gaddafi’s removal have clearly had drastic consequences for Libya as it is considered a failed state and is where one of only seven U.S. Ambassador’s was killed in the line of duty.

The fourth thing we need to do is reinvigorate what has made this nation so great and that is entrepreneurial driven capitalism. In short, we need to revitalize small business’ and get people working. One of the allures to joining a group like ISIS is that it gives young men and women that are disenfranchised, for one or another, a purpose. We need to give these same people a purpose. We need to create an environment where these same people feel they can succeed. Note, this doesn’t mean we need to create “safe spaces” or some other non-sense. This means we need to create the space and opportunity for individuals to cultivate their unique abilities and skills as well as foster ingenuity.

I don’t want to digress from last few posts, but I heard on early news this morning about a PBS funded website advising grammar school teachers how to teach kids about Islam/becoming Muslim. I understand PBS was “caught” using federal funds for this so it is being removed. So much for airport strip searches.

Seems to fit into the 3rd or 4th stages of civilization depicted above.

I’m not interested in continuing this discussion about India but wanted to clarify my comment.

I don’t think the British rulers in India were good just the Muslim rule was way worse. Muslims also absolutely brutalized Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
