Didn’t offend me. I just felt that they were deliberately associating Islam with that place of horror. And if you watch the show, you’ll see that this prison is depicted as the worst place on earth.
Or maybe it’s just an deco artist who felt like climbing up a ladder and writing Arabic on the wall. We’ll never know…

If the prison was in Africa, Asia or even Europe, I could understand why Arabic. But Panama? That’s country where 100% of the population adheres to Christianty.

I stumbled upon an episode of “24” last year, and let’s just say that it didn’t leave much room for interpretation.
Now, comparing the way I questioned the malice and intent of inserting that Arabic word up there, to some nutjob spending his time listening to music in a way it wasn’t designed for, is silly really.
Fox’s agenda is no conspiracy. It ain’t got a secretive nature. I don’t know if it was slipped there for laughs or to make a point, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was ever more fear-mongering coming from the Fox network.

Well, perhaps a little less crazy.
Anyway, I saw that flic yesterday with my girlfriend. It was so-so in so far that it was good in it’s own way, but doesn’t give us more clues about incomprehensible (for most guys), sublime messages in “prison break”.
But thanks anyway. Now I understand some aspects of American Life better.
For one, I always wondered why some here continuously use some distinct but totally rotten, cheap “jokes” over and over again.
The whole “french” thing. Borderline funny(so grossly outrageous some people take it for truth) jokes like “They really like Kerry in North Korea”. etc. etc.
Those who are simple minded will eventually repeat those phrases if force-fed long enough.
And one other jewel was the “some people say” quote along with statistics how many true democrats or Libertarians could actually speak up on FOX. Magnificent and “fair & balanced” journalism indeed.
P.S.:“24” is something entirely different. Cheering for torture, hey!
Anyway to get back to the original point of this tread before Lixy hijacked it into an arguement about Led Zeppelin, this is another interesting read PRCaldude.
The author makes some very good points about how many in the west are seriously deluded about what we are facing with the muslims in our midst. The history of other cultures that have allowed themselves to be overrun by Islam is not encouraging.
At a time when we need frank and honest discussions we aren’t getting it. All we are getting is a deceptively disingenuous publicity campaign.

Lixy is practices tu-quoque, taqiyya, and kitman regularly on this board.
Fortunately, the Chinese and the Indians were able to weather the jihad, to the tune of several million lives lost, of course. I think this will end in much bloodshed in the West and possibly the East as well.
