That’s awesome, man–gaining muscle while losing fat is the unicorn many of us have been chasing.

If you don’t mind my asking, how do you think this style of training will set you up for a return to power lifting? I feel like I’ve gotten significantly stronger in the 8-10 rep ranges at a controlled tempo. Lately, I also feel like I’m moving like a puma. I kinda doubt my maxes have gone up, but maybe they’d shoot up dramatically if I started training low reps/heavy weights?

I get what you’re saying.

I mean that I’ve been getting stronger workout to workout. Over the last month, I’ve added 30lbs to the pump set of bench press, which puts me above my previous best set of 10, maybe a year ago. Squats, rows, pullovers, chins have all gone up, too. I am absolutely weak as a kitten on the Stimulate sets, but those weights have been inching up, too.

Also: that photo shows one hell of a pump! You appear to have gotten bigger and look at least as lean, if not leaner.
