Anyone heard of the Isagenix 30 day cleansing program? If so, i need some advice on the efficacy of the program. My accupuncturist wants me to start this cleanse soon, but i have some reservations.

Their claims are way over the top, they have way too many ‘cleansing’ products, they have fancy videos with middle aged women living active lifestyles and smiling with amazing teeth and perfect weather. You get the point.
I doubt it could ever be ‘effective’ enough to validate the complexity and price, can’t you find a simpler means?
If your body were actually toxic enough to need a cleanse I feel like you would have some noticeable problems.
Even better… I once attended a seminar they were having. Acutally I was tricked into going there. I was told it was a gathering of personal trainers and whatnot. Anyway, this old flake comes out and starts talking about how he feels so energized because hes on these cleansers. He then tells everyone to get up and start doing a type of flashdance running in spot bullshit. The whole time my mind was telling me I didnt belong there and that sealed the deal. Im no expert on cleansers but wouldnt buy from these people.
They also sell weight loss products. I arrived at my friends place and saw the isagenix packages his girlfriend had bought. I thought “oh man, you gotta be kidding me…” So I look at the mrp product and other stuff. Sure enough it`s just some cheapo whey with a small amount of carbs with a portion of the daily recommeded amount of vitamins. Complete crap. The “snacks” were these vitamin c looking caps with get this… 1 gram of protein per cap. The worst part is the price she paid for all that stuff.
Look into something else is what Id advise to you. The 3 products that come up on another forum Id started a thread on were a product by “Heel” “cleanse smart” and the “wild rose” cleansing system. These replies were from posters I trust so I`d look into them. Hope that helps.
