long story short been on trt for 2 year or more now. Previously took 70-75 mg depot test IM per week broken into two shots 35mg each monday and thursday and my test results were fine. 5 weeks ago started doing sub q into abdomen and got the results below with a dosage of 60-70mg per week test depot.

Methodology: Abbott Architect immunoassay.
Results should not be interpreted in isolation as
absolute evidence of the presence or absence of
malignant disease.
Changes in serial results may be misleading
unless all Total PSA results are from the same
laboratory method.

NOTE: Fulvestrant has been shown to interfere
with estradiol testing by this direct
immunoassay. Results for patients taking
this medication may be falsely elevated to
a clinically-significant degree.
Some steroidal aromatase inhibitors are
structurally related to estradiol and may
interfere with some direct immunoassays.

I understand you were injecting 35mg twice weekly in the beginning, but now you’re injecting 30mg twice weekly, or 35mg twice weekly?
You have to pick one and stick with it because it will change the results down the road, 6 weeks to be exact. TSH only labs, tells you nothing about the thyroid, only that it’s being stimulated. Would have like to see some thyroid hormone testing because this is important if TRT is going to show excellent results or not. You will have to pull teeth to get doctors to agree to more thyroid hormone testing.
You can leave out all the excess words on future labs, all we needed was the lab values.
Sorry for the late reply. so yah before i was doing 70mg IM. my free test was like 493, estradiol 140. Now on subq 60-70mg per week, my free test is 713 which shows its too high and estradiol is 40 which is low. I dont get how my test went up and estradiol down on a lower dose of test just from switching to sub q. I’m wondering if this is normal for some of those who use sub q ?
There is a chance it was a lab error. I have had several. They drew my TT twice in once instance, and they was a 100 point difference between the two readings. Also had TT come back extremely low when I was on a decent amount of test, had to be error. So, that might be the case, before you start taking drastic action.
Are you having symptoms of low e2? Were you having high symptoms on the IM dose?
TSH should be nearer to 1.0
Please see below and post two sets of oral body temperatures.
We need to know history of using iodized salt.
Symptoms:
Are your outer eyebrows sparse?
Low energy
Low mood
Low libido
Feel cold easier
Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky. Thyroid hormone fT3 is what gets the job done and it regulates mitochondrial activity, the source of ATP which is the universal currency of cellular energy. This is part of the body’s temperature control loop. This can get messed up if you are iodine deficient. In many countries, you need to be using iodized salt. Other countries add iodine to dairy or bread.

I can be a bit abrupt in my replies and recommendations. I have a lot of ground to cover as this forum has become much more active in the last two years. I can’t follow threads that go deep over time. You need to respond to all of my points and requests as soon as possible before you fall off of my radar. The worse problems are guys who ignore issues re thyroid, body temperatures, history of iodized salt. Please do not piss people off saying that lab results are normal, we need lab number and ranges.
The value that you get out of this process and forum depends on your effort and performance. The bulk of your learning is reading/studying the suggested stickies.
Lab timing matters.
When were labs done relative to prior injection?
Was prior span 3 or 4 days.
Try to do labs halfway between injections. Time of routine doctor visit can be wrong.
