I was in a local mall the other day and stopped in the GNC for a laugh. What I found was not funny. There inside one of the glass boxes were several bottles of MAG-10. I talked to the girl at the counter and she had never heard of any laws banning it. Naturally I bought every bottle they had. She even gave me 20% off. Then she said they would probably be getting more in. They also had several other brands of prohormones and I am thinking about going back and buying them before someone else does.
So is selling MAG-10 legal or not? I thought that it was banned forever. Maybe I just got lucky and should buy every prohormone they are selling.
The MAG-10 you bought is not a prohormone but something new named MAG-10. Sorry bro the laugh is on you.I almost did the same thing. You can always bring it back if ya want?
GNC? If you’re for real (and wanted to be a Duchebag) you could buy that shit up then throw a fake roid rage blame it on GNC for selling these “banned drugs” and sue the shit out of them. JUST don’t mention Biotest products. See if you can get some twinlabs andro’s. I’d like to see them lose some money for all their overhyped bullshit ads.

Um… explain this more thoroughly please?[/quote]
Yeah Dude,
I thought I saw the exact same thing at a GNC on a military base, so there was a justified reason for concern about them selling this (banned/drug tests). I asked her to take it out of the case, and I can’t remember the ingredients exactly, but it looked like Alpha Male or something similar (I think Tribulous and Eurycoma were in it, maybe something else).
I don’t know when Biotest came out w/ this, but I think it’s probably something that we already have access to. They’re probably just tailoring it to the GNC type of market.
Haha. I work at GNC but don’t use their products (go figure) because it’s good money. If you read the bottle, then chances are it says MAG-10 Avenger and not Destroyer. GNC never really got into the prohormone market because of these scenarios. MAG-10 Avenger is like a combination of Alpha Male, Methoxy-7, and RED KAT from what I remember. I’d find your reciept and take it back before the first 30days of the month for a full refund.
Ok, I got screwed. It’s MAG-10 Avenger. It says it’s a step beyond prohormones. This seems like a dirty trick that Biotest is doing. Taking the MAG-10 bottle and putting some other crap in it. Looks like the marketing department is showing its true colors. I guess it serves me right, buying a suppliment without reading the fine print.
So what is this stuff and should I take it back? It cost about $50 a bottle so if it is crap I’m going to take it back. Has anyone used it yet?

What you bought was not a T-Nation product. We told you guys that the stuff you see in T-Nation would not be in stores and that’s true here, too.
The reason for this separation is multi-fold. We make strong stuff on T-Nation that’s probably a little too hard-core for the general market. Also, by selling T-Nation stuff here and here only, we cut out about 4 middle men, thus enabling us to keep the prices extremely reasonable.
Still, when MAG-10 was taken off the market, GNC was reluctant to let it go. They wanted another product with the MAG-10 name. Hence the product you bought.
Is it a good product? Absolutely. Is is a pro-hormone? No, but you should have been able to tell by the price.
As far as the “marketing department,” we probably will have another product with the MAG-10 name here on T-Nation at some point. Why? We like the name. It killed us when the FDA killed it.
Thanks for the explanation on Avenger. Like I said it was my fault for not reading the label. I saw MAG-10 and was so happy with my find that I lost my head. I was thinking about using it anyway but I think I’ll take it back and use my money for some more Alpha Male as soon as it is back in stock.
Just today I grabbed one, I was agast, could it be true? Then I read the label and gave it back to the clerk, and they were curious and asked why. I told them I thought it was the real deal but it most certainly is not!
So is the Spike at GNC the real deal? Looks to be the same just cheaper.
