Is there any actual benefit to bcaas for powerlifting or bodybuilding?
Depends. If you’re not eating enough protein or in a calorie deficit, they’ll probably help with recovery. Or if you’re an elite athlete who trains x2 a day and competes, then you might want to make sure you’re taking advantage of all the recovery methods. If you’re more of a normal person and eating ample protein and calories, perhaps not so much.
I dropped BCAA’s for a while and didn’t see any difference. My diet’s very on point though.
