Is the New Forum View Permanent?

Looks like they fixed this. I am honestly amazed, but very delighted. Great work t-nation!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

I donā€™t believe so, no. Discussing how, or why, changes are made seems to often end up arguing/defending how or why changes are made, which isnā€™t particularly productive.

I appreciate that Chris. It looks like the change has actually been reversed, and knowing that the t-nation staff is actually listening to the forum posters is awesome. For a while there, it seemed like the forum feedback subforum really didnā€™t have much purpose. I am really delighted to see that our feedback is considered.

Agreed, I noticed and am glad they listened to the feedback

Seems like itā€™s only for mobile, desktop is still the same way as before.

Yeah, I imagine that wonā€™t ever change, but this was at least a very significant victory for the feedback.

I agree, the change back is a huge relief. Awesome work pwnisher! Way to speak up haha

A bit off topic -

The new system will bump any thread to the top when itā€™s been edited. Thatā€™s annoying. If someone wants to correct a spelling error, the thread gets bumped to the top.

If someone wanted to go back and delete a picture or comment, thereā€™s no way to do that without calling attention to it because it will be bumped.

EDIT - I just edited a post in my training log and it didnā€™t bump it to the top so maybe this has been fixed? Or itā€™s inconsistent?

I donā€™t know if anyone is reading these responses, butā€¦
I did some experimenting with deleting an old post. Itā€™s inconsistent. Sometimes it will NOT bump the thread, or show up in the feed of most recent posts. Sometimes it will. Very strange.
