Taking the endorsement of Pat Robertson? Is this a sign of desperation?
Beginning to look like a crazy white bitch against a Mormon next Fall. Fascinating!
Smedley Butler, we need you!!!

If Bush can win while having quite a few hundred âgraduatesâ of Robertsonâs âlaw schoolâ in his administration, I think Rudy is ok. A jackass and just as slimy as the rest of em, but not destroyed by olâ Pat.
Done? Huh? Itâll help him a little in South Carolina maybe, which he oughta win anyway unless McCain can continue rising.

H.H.,
I donât have any idea what you are getting at. This may be the first time that Robertsonâs endorsement was actually valuable.

This just in:
âCats reclassified as dogs, dogs now considering the moniker âP-Diddyââ
But the question still remains, who will endorse them?

moRon,
Thatâs one of the most revealing posts youâve ever had.
It clearly indicates how you manage to support everything paul says and does.
You just pretend his failings are something else.
For instance, when asked how he would deal with contentious areas, paul responds, âWeâll trade with them.â
Most of us would come to the obvious conclusion that successful trading conditions inherently have a limited amount of hostility.
Even you must have figured out that there is serious problems assuming that everyone will want to trade fairly. Then if foreign nations decide to suddenly, say make oil $350 dollars a barrel, the U.S. would have to intervene.
Or, impose ridiculous tariffs to drive our goods from the market. Or, impose exorbitant taxes on any commerce (aka Barbary Pirates).
Most of us automatically reject this shallow thinking as not befitting a Presidential candidate.
You on the other hand, according to your post, just change the subject. You just call ron paulâs demagoguery bravery in the face of opposition.
In moRonsâ minds, demagoguery will now be called bravery. Or shallow thinking will now be called revolutionary.
Thanks for the insightful post.

âWeâ is meant in the editorial senseâŠitâs actually individual businesses who will trade with âthemââŠâWeâ will actually not do anything because collective action is not possible.
That is the cost of business. Let the individual businessmen figure it out. No bureaucrat has that ability.
I think we know intervention doesnât really work. It is obvious no one knows what needs to be done in the first place?
Your blessed State is failingâŠand dem terrists are comin ferya!!
If someone seeks an endorsement from someone else, and that other person has pretty different viewpoints, this smells like grasping at straws.
I think Rudy just might have seen a wee bit of the âhandwriting on the wallâ.
BTW: how many more platitudes can I add to this post?

And itâs sort of easy to kick back and listen to Paul yammer on about how we should just stay home and lock the doors.

Actually, if you want to make this thread about Paul, no problem for meâŠ
Paul would never suggested that you should lock your doors because he would never presume to think he knows what is best for you â youâre a big boy Micky.
Paulâs analysis is that we currently do not have a strong defense because we are in an offensive position. His conclusion is we should bring the military home and spend money on a defensive strategy, instead. I agree with both his analysis and conclusion.
Rudy is most likely going to win the nomination.

But the Republican primary will be more interesting than the Dems - hopefully, though, the winner wonât need to deplete his war chest too badly⊠He needs to save funds to use against Hillary.
Donât count out Obama just yet. Kerry was doing much worse at this point in the race back in his running days.

Obama is exceptionally quick on his feet and always formidable in a debate. Youâre right he shouldnât be counted out, he could steal the nomination. But he wonât get elected President, southern racism will not allow it.[/quote]
You underestimate Northern, Western, and Eastern racism, too.
