Sure. You can do pretty much the same thing if you take a tablespoon of olive oil.
When I was 15, I would make peanut butter and bread after a workout. I didn’t have that many other choices of protein, and we always have peanut butter in the closet. I gained around 5 pounds of muscle each month while eating it right before bed.

Before bed? You have probably gained fat mass along with muscle mass. It is a very calorie-dense food, so it is better to eat it in the morning so that the calories are consumed during the day.
A whole jar? Your body can probably digest that much. I can only eat three spoonfuls. If I eat more than that, I get a rash on my skin.

I’m pretty sure that when you sleep is when you heal and gain muscle, so I guess eating before bed is a good thing to be doing
I don’t really count this as a bodybuilding food and am not using it as a stapl of my diet.
I do at panut butter, but I try to use it as a btter alternative or substitue to other foods when I want something sweet to snack on.
