Is Fox News a Shill ?

You can clearly see the Fox News logo on the screen in the clip I provided. His show is the responsibility of the Fox News department.

rainjack it is ok to admit you are wrong.

Oh come on. Are you all such partisan whores that you aruge over which news networks are partisan? News flash, they all are! Why don’t both sides stop being such goddamn sheep.

this what i mean when i say i don’t understand this tenacious and defensive loyalty to a network. in this case i started a thread about something fox had done. yes it could’ve been any network, but it wasn’t. and the fact that “others do it to” is not a defense.

news should be fact, and the seperation of fact and opinion should be clear. to that end it should be the innacuracies, misinformation , and lying we should be attacking. not networks.

if others do it too then by all means post it. that would be a much better use of time than trying to defend a network, or trying to defend an imagined slight against your favorite political party.

I have admitted to being wrong before - when I was wrong. Now is not one of those times

It’s called the FOX NEWS CHANNEL. Those words will show up across the bottomn of the screen on all of the FNC shows.

The mere idea that you think that is proof is just laughable.

I think I am done with your undeveloped brain. I usually enjoy sparring with the halfwits that show up - but you are too stupid for me to get any enjoyment out of it.

Funny that it is called a news channel at all when you are loudly proclaiming that they don’t actually show any news, just entertainment.

" FOX NEWS, WE REPORT, WE DECIDE"

What news network isn’t biased? I get just as sick watching CNN as some of you do watching Fox news. Is Fox unbiased? Hardly. I think they stand out because they seem to be the only one with a “conservative” bias. By the way, does anyone else listen to or watch the Glenn Beck Show?

Good lord - never mind…It’s harvest time at the Thinking Tree, so I will let this one slide. But you need to get some sleep.

Show me where I ever said that they don’t actually show news anymore. No one is slamming their news here. The wadded panties have been over O’Reilley - and if you think for a second that he is part of the news team, then you are beyond rational thought.

I love Glenn Beck. I listen to him when I can, and watch him when I can as well.

Funny guy. Isn’t on a cable news network as well? I don’t even know which one but they are definitely as biased as Fox if they give Beck an hour every night.

Dumb ass of course they decide what to report but we choose to belive it or not. unlike CNN who brainwashs us into beliving their biasd veiws

Unfortunately their ratings have not increased in a very long time but have been sliding.

You can leave your cable box turned to any channel you want while leaving your TV off to boost your favorite channel’s ratings.

Funny how that works.

Ailes thinks he is going to be able to negotiate sweet deals with all the cable operators when the current deals expire.

He is in for a rude awakening. It does not take much to figure out how to leave a cable box on when no one is watching TV and the cable operators track that.

SO let me get this straight…

FNC is because everyone that likes Fox keeps their cable boxes set to Fox News and then quits watching TV?

Dude. [/quote]

First of all, FNC does not beat any network news shows period. They beat MSNBC and CNN (I do not watch any of these channels).

FNC ratings show that the vast majority of views watch them all day long which means that their viewers are unemployed and/or they leave their cable boxes tuned to FNC whether they are watching or not.

More people tune into CNN for shorter periods and CNN generate more ad revenue than Fox does each year.

FNC viewer watch more and make less money than CNN viewers.

Wall Street analysts track this stuff because income drives our decisions.

FNC’s Neilsen ratings are higher while CNN’s cummulative numbers are higher.

Cummulative numbers attract higher per ad revenues.

Roger Ailes said,“If we look conservative, it’s because the other guys are so far to the left.”

According to Ailes…FNC vs. everyone else.

When Special Report airs, FNC has 1/30th the viewers of all the other ‘liberal’ news shows combined.

Getting beat 30 to 1 is nothing to brag about.

If this is true than why the big outcry from so many?

You defend FNC as much as the left wingnuttery takes shots at that channel.

FNC is a mis-information site. It has nothing to do with being a conservative voice.

Using FNC’s logic we should give equal time to people who believe that the Holocaust never happened…

Yes, perfectly valid question - why worry about it if the numbers are that small?

Using your logic we should ignore the KKK.

That is precisely the best way to deal with them unless they start committing crimes.

What if the KKK had a rally and no one showed up?

If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around does it make a sound.

mmmkay…

Why doesn’t the right wingnuttery ignore the MSM and quit crying about it being ‘liberal’ and just tune into FNC?

They pretty much do. I hear more complainsts from the left about Fox.

Do you people really not understand the concept that spreading factually incorrect infromation and raw conjecture, for political advantage, is not that wise a course of action?

I mean, do you really believe in democracy, which requires an informed public making decisions, or do you think it’s best to control the votes, via propaganda, which really goes counter to the whole concept of having a free and open democracy.

Some of you guys need to make up your minds whether or not you truly believe in what America stands for.

America is not about lies, hiding the truth, propaganda and win at all cost including sacrificed principles. At least I didn’t think it was…

Listening to some of you, I’m not so sure anymore. The reason people complain so much is because there are important principles involved.

If the so-called MSM is twisting facts, instead of just presenting ones that happen to be inconvenient, then they need a damned spanking as well.

Which is it?
