Is Bodybuilding/PLing Easy?

No. I’ve campaigned long and hard for an IP check against him. I’ve even bet my IP against his if they don’t come up with less than five aliases.

The ridiculous thing is, if I told you how many accounts he has had, it makes me look like the hysteric. The truth is, if you know how this guy manipulates people, you’ll see how easy he is to spot.

The OP is textbook HH. Also textbook Clip, textbook Zeb, textbook NP…

Hold on…I have a whole book filled with these.

FTR,

I never said it wasn’t hard, awesome or worthy of time. Just that it’s not a sport.

Neither is ping-pong, golf, fishing, hunting, hiking et cetera. And I love ping-pong, golfing, fishing, hunting and hiking but I know they are not sports even if other hobbyists disagree.
How the hell is Prof Ping Pong not a sport? Have you ever seen the fuckers play…scratch that.

What is the Universal definition of “Sport”?
Uh oh:
sportâ?? â??[spawrt, spohrt] Show IPA
noun
1.
an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc.
2.
a particular form of this, especially in the out of doors.
3.
diversion; recreation; pleasant pastime.
Wordnet dictionary has it as :
sport - an active diversion requiring physical exertion and competition
Synonyms: athletics
Well, how interesting…if far more activities aren’t suddenly sports.
You’ve done it now. Here comes the storm

So he actually created a profile in 2007 to start a controversial thread in 2011?

I just don’t buy it.

Uh, no, he has spent those years making threads just like this. What is it you are missing here?

You really think guys who have been here for a decade are the clueless ones here?

Once lifting heavy weights becomes a habit and passion more than a hobby, and once you find the gym to be your sanctuary, then yes, bodybuilding and PLing is easy. You actually enjoy the hurt. That’s my opinion.

Ok, ok. Lets play the “Flipside Game”

Based on the definition of Sport above:

Playing guitar in a recital is a sport

A recital is not a “competition”.

If there is only one winner of the Guitar Play Offs…then yeah, it is.

Is bodybuilding a lifestyle because bodybuilders need to train, eat and sleep? Do not all athletes do that? It’s like some bodybuilders seem to be implying that all the other top athletes eat whatever they want and whenever they want, since having to eat (“work hard in the kitchen brah”) is counted as a sort of training.

Guitarists and other musicians do compete for stage time…some for entry into music school programs…

so 2 dudes going after a spot in a band is?

sport
Noun: An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others

Here’s my opinion: BB is not a sport, because the competition is the Arnold or the Olympia, not the training leading up to that point. And in my opinion, there is not sufficient physical exertion or skill involved in the actual posing routine to be considered a sport. Squeezing muscles, learning a posing routine, etc are not enough for me to consider it a sport. And this is where it gets tricky and why this subject of whether BB is a sport or not always comes up and will never end, because the ‘physical exertion’ and ‘skill’ that takes places in the competition is largely up to bias, perspective, and interpretation.

Cliffnotes: If BB is a sport, then so is Miss America.

How?

I love it when a derail gets derailed into a new rail.

& prof Ping Pong is a sport. Tnation trolling w
Could be a sport but you need more than 1 to make it a competition.

Spot the greenhorn. OP is an unabashed racist, apparently hails from Finland (where the black population is too small to warrant his predjudice) and types in pitch-perfect English. Never uses a word out of context. Ever. If you still doubt, ask him to type in his native language.

Unless that 1 is HH. Then it’s a tournament.
