How are we talking about taking steroids legally in this forum? I thought they were illegal. Is it okay to break the law? Just wondering.

Its a common misconception, perpetuated by the “must make a sale” media.
Steroids are not illegal.
Buy, selling and administering them without a prescription is illegal in many western countries. This is in contrast to other drugs which are illegal to use such as crack cocaine, opium and similars. Even then, derivatives, such as morphine, are not illegal, you just need a prescription or it needs to be administered by a registered professional.
So, like the contraceptive pill, many powerful painkillers and lots of other common medications, you need a prescription to obtain and use steroids. And not all steroids. Some you can buy over the counter, like Vitamin D3. Thats a steroid, but you can buy it anywhere without a prescription.
Maybe the question you were asking was, “How can you discuss the possible misuse of steroids (as in, not prescribed by a physician or other medical specialist) without getting arrested”. Well, cos talking about it and offering advice is not illegal. No more than discussing the use of a contraceptive pill.
