Ok I’m asking for a “SPOILER” what was Oliva Munns part. And did she do anything worth talking about?
Reporter at the beginning. And no not worth talking about, I really love that woman. After Salma Hayek the only woman I would leave my wife for.
hahah so she wasn’t even the WASP. oh that sucks ahahahahahah. OH well.
Just watched it again with the director’s commentary. He pointed out “Easter eggs” in the movie including mentioning the existance of not just Thor, Captain America and Hulk in this timeline but the Black Panther also.
Has anyone heard if they are working on a BP script or is Thor and Captain America the only attempt right now?
Wesley Snipes is too old for the role now. Maybe he could play the father.

Nothing On Panther however the Old Spice ad guy is up for Luke Cage. Maybe we’ll get a Panther hint in Cap since a group calling themselves The Invaders will appear in the Cap film. For those not in the know The Invaders was a comic from the 70’s which explored Cap’s days in WWII fighting in Europe he teamed with the synthetic man the original Human Torch, his side kick Toro, Namor the Sub Mariner, and Bucky; later on they would also add Union Jack(rumored to be in Cap and mentioned in IM2) and his sister Spitfire.

What was the Black Panther reference? I think I remember the other ones, but I missed this one. Guess what I’ll be watching tonight…

Two different spots are checked in Africa one being Wakanda home of the vibranium mountain and the Black Pnther. Is the vibranium mountain in movie continuity or did Stark invent the metal now?

The Captain America shield he created is a combo of vibranium and the new substance his father created. Together, it makes the shield indestructible.
That is what they were looking for in the Wolverine Origins movie when they went to Africa (they also had a child Storm in the deleted scenes to show what age she was then in that country…before she meets the Black Panther (she later marries him).

I guess Wolverine is another movie I’ll be rewatching soon. I just finished the X-men trilogy yesterday and I’m catching up on the comics (reading Civil War right now). Having two weeks off is gooood.

The funny thing is, I feel like a kid with this shit. I love how they linked all of the movies for those who are really fans.
If they can pull of a good Luke Cage and Black Panther, I will want Marvel to have my baby.

I’m pretty much a continuity whore. That’s why I keep coming back to comics - I HAVE to know what happens next and how it’s all linked.
And yeah, if they can do Luke Cage justice it will be one hell of a movie.
He kind of flaked on giving any details though…but shit, as far as ACTING goes, you couldn’t do much better. That guy has a THICK European accent and you can’t even tell in movies.

I’ve only seen him in The Wire so far. He was VERY good in that, possibly the best actor on that show. Plus he’s tall and seems quite big in spite of not having that much muscle (at least in the Wire, not sure what he looks like these days). If he bulked up a bit he’d have the chops AND the look.
Also, it’s a British accent, don’t put all us Europeans in one bag

They’re supposedly doing an Iron Fist movie, also.
