I think anyone saying Iron Man 2 is as bad as Transformers 2 is exaggerating to make their point.
It feels so much like the first movie to me in all the right ways that it seems odd to me that someone would love the first and hate the second.

We three Wisemen appreciate this movie. I’m sure the haters will enjoy Sex and the City 2 when it comes out.
I liked it also.

You mean part 2 right?
^ LOL.
Saw it Saturday. Sequels are a hard thing to knock out of the ballpark. I loved this movie cause I like the sarcasm and wit. I give the edge to the first one only because it had not been done before. If they had tried to mimic Dark Knight than people would be on here complaining that they tried to mimic Dark Knight. This has to take its own course and balls to the wall action is not what they are going for. I still think they need more development of Tony and his bad habits to give it that edge.
I liked the movie.
I liked that there was a villain of equal value in a movie like this. Bad ass movies always have a kick ass villain. When you the scales tip too much in favor of one person, it loses some luster. You could look at Mickey Rourke and see he was a great cast for this spot, he looked pretty mentally irregular, and physically convinced me that he could whoop some ass.
I also like how the story developed further with Tony Stark. I think Jon Favreau realized that he needed more than some cool battle scenes and some hot tits-and-ass scenes to make it memorable. I like seeing how the characters evolve, some of the personal struggles with Stark, and of course, the techno-geek shit always wins with me.
Apparently there were some scenes during the credits that I missed, shit !

Dont sweat the credits scene. Just the agent out in the desert with a shot of Thor’s hammer. Made the wife sit and watch. All I heard was “thats it” you made me sit through the credits for that. I just shrugged and said sorry.

Batman has a darker subject matter than most superheroes. The fucker lost his parents at a young age and dedicates his entire life to chasing rapists, murderers, and psychos, while he himself is crazy.
Iron Man is a boy genius who loves life and makes the best out of every situation. He makes money, fucks bitches, and kicks Super Villain ass on the weekend.
This is spot on.
I can’t understand why people are even attempting to compare this to The Dark Knight. Iron Man is being done right. You can’t make every comic book movie dark and gritty.

Does Tony explain Cap’s sheild and why it was in his workshop unfinshed?
no he doesnt explain that in the movie.
I was also kinda confused on that part… Did Stark just have all those boxes that the SHIELD people dropped off and it was in one?

I should have been more specific. For me worth the wait for the wife not so much. So if Max was with the wife than not worth staying. Catch on the video.

I thought it was in the stuff from his office. Like stuff from his Dad.
just found the after the credits scene online… Bad Ass! Do you guys think they will do individual movies for each character then bring them together? Or just start combining them into the sequels of Iron Man?

No, but it plays a pivotal role when Tony creates a new element.

Thor and Captain America are getting their own movies first, and then there will be an Avenger film with all of them together.

Lol, pivotal indeed.

They’re doing their own movies, then it goes to an avenger’s film. I think one of the films will end with a cliffhanger that says be a to be continued in Avenger’s.
I just heard a rumor the lead villian from V might be Janey Van Dyne the Wasp

awesome! A Thor movie would be so sick… Do you think they’re gonna do the Captain America one based off the old WW2 or do you think he’ll get super humaned up for a modern war then turn into Cap?

I didn’t want to offend your wife, that’s why my statement was a general one.
