About 8-9 years ago there was a guy named Michael Ignatieff who was running for PM in Canada as the Liberal candidate, the whole time it looked like he wasn’t even trying to win, it was like a boxer throwing a fight. He got so few votes that he even lost his seat in parliament and the Liberals did so poorly that they were no longer the official opposition, instead the NDP was the main opposition. The whole thing looked like a scheme to get Stephen Harper re-elected.
Sure enough, a few years later Ignatieff was running a university in Hungary that was owned by Goeorge Soros. The Hungarian government had enough of their shit and shut down the university. They are pawns is a global chess game.
Looking at the Democrat party candidates for the next election, the odds seem to be totally against them. Prejudices aside, except for Obama all presidents have been white Christian heterosexual men.

If you go to the right place at the right time you will see it, like when left wing protestors try to shut down meetings and speeches involving people they disagree with. I agree that this isn’t something you will come across in regular day to day life, but it happens and is a significant factor in politics these days.
One example is Andrew Scheer, the Conservative party candidate in the last Canadian election, was accused of being homophobic for refusing to march in a gay pride parade. Anyone who opposes open borders can be accused of racism. If you have a dick and you aren’t gay then you are probably a sexist too, unless you bend over backwards to proudly wear the label of “male feminist”.
Well, we now have over 100 US soldiers that they admit have brain injuries, hard to call that a success. Also Trump said he wanted to end US involvement in all these wars (which I think is a great idea), starting another one is hypocritical and not likely popular either.
Plus it wasn’t a strike on Iran, this was something that could arguably be called a terrorist attack. What would you call it if Iran used drones to blow up a US general in Iraq who was there for negotiations between the three countries?

I would also tend to think with the lack of diversity shown by the GOP they also care about what you look like and who you’re banging…with a very short list of exceptions. To me if you have a party with straight and gay candidates who you’re banging is less important than the party who wouldn’t think of having a gay candidate be seriously considered for president.
