They will get there. Everyday they edge a little closer… and with every inflammatory remark (like the one that protestors were in a “war against god”) they grow stronger.

This will have lasting effects on Iran.

Absolutely.
I do hope both of you are right.

So who has won what you dolts?

You can win a war and lose a peace.

I congratulate you so fucking much.

We have 2,000 years worth of killing foreigners to go before we catch up with Europe’s casualty list.

Enjoy the next 1,700 years. I’m sure at some point we’ll bludgeon Austria into submission again, being as you guys like starting things that you can’t finish.

Clearly, this qualifies as…

Owned.
Sure.

Because at the rate this is going you have 1700 years left.

If someone will kick our ass it will be the independent republic of Texas, but definitely not the US of A.

And then they go to the US – to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, MIT…and any number of grad schools – to get a real education.

Face it Franz, Grandad was wrong; nothing special about the Nazis and their spawn.
Face it Billie Bob, nothing special about America either.

Oh, and becoming a village that calls itself a country is hardly an overwhelming win, BTW.

A good Little League team --no matter how good – is still meaningless to the big league teams.
Ah, you are such a sweet little collectivist.

And I like the phallic identification with the US military prowess.

Of course your empire makes your life so much better!

HULK S-M-A-S-H!

Jesus Orion, you’re pretty sore about losing, huh?

Hmmm… lets see:

We have advanced all the major sciences, medicine, industry, space exploration, technology etc.more than any other nation overall by a lot. We are more prosperous than any other nation on Earth as a whole also by a lot. We voluntarily give more of our own money to help the rest of the world than the next 5 or maybe even 10 nations combined. We are the destination of much more immigration as well because apparently some people seem to think America IS special. In 200 years we made ourselves the most mighty military force in recorded history.

The automotive and electrical industries alone, both unleashed here first, revolutionized the human condition on a truly world wide scale in one fell swoop. Whenever a people pursue freedom they point and look to us for both their example and support. Should I go on?

That is not to discount the many and significant contributions from other nations as well, including Austria, but the United States has been the most “successful” nation in history and is in that sense exceptional.

It’s a global tragedy that we have been increasingly hell bent on seeing to it that that does not continue, but the fact remains.

Losing what?

I have yet to read anything of substance?

If you say so.

I think that Egypt, China and Rome at least would disagree and that contributions like the road, laws, civil servants an organized military and things like these were a bit more fundamental but if you would like to think that America is special because it carried the torch for 50 years or so, why not.

I do not even have a problem with the real America, just with the bloated, ignorant and downright dangerous caricature some posters here seem to worship.

Yes.

Small penises and large armies are not a good combination.

Ironically, they are too small to be ignored.

Fortunately, you ARE a big enough dick to be ignored.
And you are so good at it too!

Yeah! nothing special about that! Nothing special about Egypt, China, or Rome either!

OOPS!!! Forgot all about aviation.

Ya know what I love about being an American? I get to appreciate the accomplishments of other nations without ever having to feel it diminishes the accomplishments of my own.

Nothing the Unites States has achieved would have been possible without the advancements of civilizations that had gone before. See how easy that was?
