Al Gore was too much of a pussy to push the recount issue. I think he lost alot of respect in many people’s eyes. Bush also took the bull by the horns on his end and just claimed himself as president. Lord knows how much different things might be, both good and bad, if George W never made it to the White House. That prick.

You must have been pretty young. I seem to remember non stop coverage. Butterfly ballots, hanging chads and that snarling vicious psychopathic woman who’s name escapes me who was in charge of the recount.
But didn’t you just say Americans should only care about Iranians as long as it’s in the former’s interest to care?
why should you give a shit what Americans care about? You hate everything America does and doesn’t do. So no matter what we do, you will say it’s wrong, so stick it already.

Worse! They keep calling Mahmoud Abbass “Mr. President”.

I guess everybody lost interest in this now.
Unfortunately so. Michael Jackson is hitting up more headlines than Iran in the media.
Iranians didn’t wait for the election to push for reforms. They have been doing every day by civil disobedience, fighting matters in courts, etc. This latest demonstration is just the culmination of decades of oppression and censorship.
But didn’t you just say Americans should only care about Iranians as long as it’s in the former’s interest to care?
I was right, as usual. Current events, like calling for the deaths of protestors by one of the head thugs (clerics), bears me out.
And Obama wants to sit down at the table with these beasts? Pathetic.
Evil can’t be gotten rid of with words and negotiations (think Hitler and Munich).
BURN THE NEST!

I remember tons of media coverage of the 2000 election and the whole “hanging chad” debate. It went on for months.
And as long as we are in the mood to revise history…I think it is funny they are saying Michael Jackson was more influencial than Elvis and the Beatles.
Wow

YOU’RE the one calling a great nation “emasculated and pussified.”
It’s just like you to start a gunfight, and then claim you’re playing “tag.”
You have a serious superiorty complex that fits just a bit too well with ol’ Grandad Nazi’s to be pure coincidence.
Talk about learning lessons!
Don’t worry man. The Germans and Austrians, they’re like the Buffalo Bills of wars. Looks great until it comes to the big game, but in the end they lose. And it don’t matter if it’s by a field goal or fifty-five.
He he.
Aptly put.
So true.
We live our socialism without killing to many foreigners.
Our kids finish school and learn to read and write-
So who has won what you dolts?
You can win a war and lose a peace.
I congratulate you so fucking much.

Europeans have killed their fair share of foreigners in the past. No doubt about that.
You’re the ones who have become pussified.

And i congratulate you as well for getting rid of the Nazi and Japanese scum, America is truly a beacon in the sea of scum.
I like how the Iranians are “crushing” the resistance in response to what Obama said. In other words, if he would have remained silent, they would have let the riots continue? Give me a break. The Iranian government is so afraid of losing power they are playing America up as the villian in this, when all they need to do is come clean about election fraud, or have another election. It is clear the Iranians do not like, or trust their government and blaming America is the governments way of trying to stir up their right wing followers against the opposition.
So much for the greatest democracy in the region.
What a joke.
I think Lixy is really the Ayatollah Khomeini coming here to show off his English skills.
I agree. Kind of like the ones in China years back. The Government, still a totalitarianism, had to open up free markets in order to survive. Now you’ve got an economic powerhouse, where before the uprising their ecomony was stagnant.
