Hey @ksman. I’ve been taking my waking and mid afternoon temps for a couple weeks. Waking are normally 97.0 ish and mid afternoon driving home at 5pm are 98.1ish.
So I’m going to follow your IR Protocol and take in 750mg of potassium iodide over 11.5 days. They are 32.5mg tablets so that’s 2 per day.
For selenium I’m going to eat a 6 ounce can of tuna every day. It has 180mcg of selenium (3.5xRDA). Is that enough? I couldn’t find the recommended dose on your sticky thread. But if the selenium in Tuna keeps the Japanese from dying of mercury poisoning it should be more than enough for me.
Also going to eat greek yogurt and take probiotics since the iodine will kill gut bacteria.
Took first dose with breakfast. Worked outside all afternoon and sweat, but I’m chubby so that’s inconclusive… No bromine lasers shot out the front of my throat, so it’s a good start.
My poor attempt at nerd humor. The increased iodine intake displaces bromine, which can make you feel ill. Bromine is also used in some research lasers.
