Introduction

I can’t threaten to kill and eat a fellow Marine. Even if he doesn’t do 5/3/1.

you really have to do 5/3/1. seriously. We have a secret handshake and everything.

What was your MOS in our beloved corps?

311 here

8152 for my first tour - Security Forces, Guarding Nukes and Nuke bases. Then over to Aviation Electronics, thought I could do the second tour without getting dirty, then they found out I could handle the 60, and I ended up being a door gunner over what is now Bosnia/then Yugoslavia.

Ah yes, the lovely Balkans, scenic Croatia, Bosnia, Herzegovia, Kosova, Serbia, Slovenia, garden spots of the world. Spend many a fine time there. Gave me several momentos to remember them by, too.
PS, Ignore Charlie Brown up yonder. It’s just pole envy. I myself am not of Scotish decent. I do compete in highland games. My kilt is the US Air Force colors. So, what kind of program are you doing.

Pretty standard/old school split - chest/tri, legs, back/bi, shoulders/traps. 210 lbs, 5’8", probaby 20% bodyfat.

How do I get into the Highland Games? They come to Old Westbury every August, but I don’t know anyone who is into it.

There. Y’all went and runned him off.

Gearwhores, meatheads, and cannibals ( who has yet to weigh in here) that’s what we got here.

Oh and cross-dressers who throw really heavy shit for bling.

Welcome.
Bwhahahaahaha

Highland games just an excuse for grown men to wear a dress…

“…throw a pole…” Let’s not let this wander off-topic now!!! :)
Thanks that could have gone horribly wrong there…

Getting into the games is mainly a matter of how far you want to travel. Here’s a calender that has POCs. Either go by month or by state. Contact them, tell them you’re new and want to get started. http://www.nasgaweb.com/dbase/main.asp. I’ll get you a link on how to come up with some home made equipment if you want to do some training.

Thanks! Homemade gear would be great!

Welcome (and I think the 5/3/1 is the best program for us old guys who want to get strong and not hurt).

Kicking back to the top in the hopes of getting the info on the homemade gear.
