Introduction

Feel for you on the sumo style. Gave it a try and the form is a lot trickier than it looks. Good luck on the bench record.

Well the Texas record ( in Natural Athlete Strength Assoc.) for a Masters 1 198 is 375. I think I can get that. Not sure how long it will take.

Not to sound real philosophical here but it’s havin the balls to make the journey that counts whether you get to the end or not. Personnally I think you’ll get there.

Had a fantastic work out today. Jimmy Myself and an old friend Grey, got together for bench work.
135 x 10, 225 x 10 ( 1 board ), 275 x 8 ( 3 boards ), 315 x 6 ( 4 boards ), 365 x 5 (4 boards ), 275 x 8 ( 1 board ).

Incline DB: 3 x 12 x 65

Military DB: 2 x 12 x 45

Plate Raises: 1 x 12 x 45

Jimmy T Rocked Hard! ( Ill let him tell ya )

Let me tell ya about Grey. Hes 74 coming off a multi year lay off. Been working out just over 2 months.

Bench: mot sure of total sets but he hit 210.

He wanted to dead lift so he works up to 300!

I couldnt believe it. He missed his first att. came back a few minutes later and BOOM. This guy is a rock.

Nice work brother!!!

Bench is way up there G-Man.
I sumo deadlift. I prefer it. But I’m still getting the form down.
