Hello, its been a year on trt. I feel as Im still a newbie. Anyhoo, I live in Northern Massachusetts and wondering if anyone here also lives in Mass. and can point me in a direction for a Doc that takes Med. Ins. And is well versed in TRT. Im afraid my PCP is not to well trained.
Im currently on 400 mg every two weeks of Testosterone and nothung more. Latest blood test were all normal to low, the things that were tested, Im afraid to ask questions cause he might rake me off treatme t. That would suck, i haven’t felt this good in 10 plus years. Any reaponse would be helpful, thanks in advance. And I hope I put this in the right section of forums.
Hi. Fellow noob here.
The unfortunate truth is that you need to manage your condition and double check the practitioners. Start by reading the stickies and the plethora of links, even if you think they don’t apply to you.
Then use the format provided answer the questions. Next get your lab results and post them. The original labs before you went on TRT would be helpful and also any you have done since then.
The good thing is that TRT or associated therapies have a pretty low monthly cost. I have insurance, but I pay my doctor cash (he doesn’t accept any insurance) because he’s good. Insurance covers my labs which are probably the biggest cost out of all this. I pay for my meds out of pocket (I could argue it with the insurance company that clomid isn’t fertility related if I were so inclined) but, 70$ covers me for 6 months of clomid. I think my multivitamin costs more…
Lots of reading to do.
Follow and read these links in 2nd post of 1st forum topic:

- things that damage your hormones
- protocol for injections
- finding a TRT doc
Doctors are the problem and your doc probably has zero training.
You dosing is insane.
Suggest:
- self injecting 50mg T twice a week [100mg total]
- 0.5 mg anastrozole at time of injections
- 250iu hCG SC EOD to protect/sustain your testes
You can inject T and hCG using 1/2" 0.5ml [50iu] #29 insulin syringes
Inject SC or IM, whichever is more comfortable.
Easiest to inject into upper leg large muscle groups outside of center line.
Some do SC in belly fat.
Post pre-TRT labs.
Was LH/FSH tested then?
Do labs, always, 1/2 way between injections.
