This is from the company that Taylor worked for. Apparently she’s been fired.
I asked a lawyer recently if I had an employee who I found out was a member of the Westboro baptist church if I could fire them, even if customers complained. He told me probably not since that would be a violation of her rights. Any resident lawyers who can clear up if she would have a case for wrongful termination?

Note: She is disgusting and deserves to be fired. Just curious.
No, you cannot fire the person on the sole basis that he/she is a member of the Westboro Church. If the person is harassing customers or co-workers then they can then be fired for violating company policy. But if they are simply doing their protected hate speech stuff outside of work then you need to come up with a different, valid reason to terminate them.

Yeah that’s what I thought. I wonder how the company justified firing her.

Damn, she’s hit! I mean down right scary… I am a fatty and I wouldn’t hit it. Not to mention that she throws out that “I’ve got a business degree” From where? Some bunk ass online school? Surely anyway who has attained a business degree from a reputable school would not conduct themselves in such a manner. She appears as pure white trash to me…

Idk, maybe her actions outside the company are having a negative effect on the company. I dont know if those phone calls are real, but if they are, could they use that to justify firing her?

They don’t need to justify it. At-will employment allows your employer to fire you for the simple fact that he/she doesn’t want you around any more. Any reason (or even no reason) is fine as long as the decision is not based on some type of unlawful discrimination.

In this case couldn’t it be construed as religious?

Her church was brought up. I’m not saying I would see it as such but that it could be seen as such.

OK. I didn’t seen anything about her religion brought up before so I was confused.

It’s Ezekiel 25:17 bro.

“The righteous employee is beset on all sides by the inequities of shitty customers and the tyranny of doughnut corporations. Blessed is he, who in the name of good service and company policy, serves the homeless free food in the valley of capitalism, as he is truly the doughnut keeper and holds the ideal job position for lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great glazing and furious carbohydrates, those who attempt to sprinkle and make soggy my doughy brothers. For you will know, my name is the Doughnut, when I lay my deliciously sugary goodness upon thee.”

Doughnuts are manna from heaven.

If Jesus is turning water into DK blueberry coffee, I’m in.
