Derek - you have to understand the history of 'Cake and US=GG. Cake is generally light, easy going, and fun to talk to. US=GG is usually hardcore and aggressive to whomever he responds to. Since you are new, one would not expect you to know this. Look up US=GG and the word Iraq in the forums, and you’ll find a shitload of political debate. Look up Cupcake and you’ll find humor and wit, along with every post containing a quote pertaining to the subject at hand. Try it, really.

However, I feel the need to point out that bullying, labelling and threats are not a good way to get your points across.
Plus I think you really might want to work on the unquestioning deference to authority that you seem to be burdened with. One of the things that’s made your country great is the constant questioning of authority, help keep it great.
Cupcake: While I’m your friend and I find most of your posts (includinig this thread’s) truly hilarious I expected better of you. Name calling, and labelling are the tactics of emotional appeal not of sound argument or debate. Argh! I typed out and submitted a huge reply yesterday, and it appeared that everything was normal so I didn’t bother saving all my text. God this forum can be so fucking frustrating sometimes. My god, the guy believes the world is 6000 years old. He just nominated for US Appeals Judge (a lifetime position) the attorney general of Alabama, who thinks that abortion is murder and should not even be allowed in cases of incest or rape and calls Roe v. Wade an “abomination”, thinks gays who participate in CONSENSUAL private sex should be prosecuted as the same level of criminals as pedofiles, necrofiles, etc., and of course, wants Christian prayer in every school… You guys what THIS kind of person having influence over the law? An idealogue should never even be nominated, but Bush seems to think highly of him. Hell, this guy makes Ashcroft look like a member of the cast of “Hair”. I don’t understand how people who seem so fucking smart when defending their views about their religious choices and freedom can just drop all their own principals and support someone who makes no apologies about his intention to change all that. How can you guys NOT see what is happening?
