i have charted the peak of my rapid acting insulin, so my carbs will be accurate on time.
fasting intramuscular injections, with bg measurements 5 mins apart over an hour)
i was wondering though if i should split my dosage. i know three ways to “abuse” insulin for sports. if i were an endurance athlete i would use plenty pre workout using a clamp technique
so instead of doing all 6 after workout, maybe 2 pre workout and 4 afterwards?
any thoughs on this?
ps. i care not for performance during training, sadly i am not limited by muscular capabilities or anything like that. i just need to recover perfectly and gain from what i was able to tear my muscles while doing medium intensity wolume training
I’m going to ask that if you decide to take it just do it post work out. There’s no need to try and get creative. Just start at 2 post work out and work up to about 8.
What brand and which level of active is it?
The last time I used it was 5 years ago. I only used the Humulin (R) which is the fast acting. I had already used it at least half a dozen times already in conjunction with high levels of HGH along with a long heavy mass cycle. Thinking I knew how to handle and when. I worked out, did my post work out protocol (one with a strict carb plan to not get fat) and went on my merry way. One hour later I’m with the wife in a store shopping and I started to get a little HYPO and I broke one of my own rules to at least to have something on hand for emergencies. I was lucky that there was a Coke machine in the front of the store. I decided at that time to no longer personally use it.
I have done a couple of intramuscular injections while fasting, i have rapid acting Novorapid whic is equally as fast as (30-45min) Humalog.I am trying to get faster acting stuff like (30 min) Apidra or ultra rapid (10-15min) Viaject, but im not sure if i can get it soon enough.
I am not using anything along with it this time so my glucose tolerance wont be affected like when you ran gh with it. During my fasting measurements the test was “blind” towards me so i wouldn’t be experiencing any imaginary hypo symptoms, when i had reached 4 (eu system healthy bg range is 4-7) then i drank some soda and was fine.
i have a person with me on this who is qualified to treat any issues that might occur in relation with this, i will be using short lasting sugar: glucose and long acting dextrose. suppliments are: whey, creatine, glutamine, mass proteine with plenty of carbohydrates and glucosamine.
right now i just weight around 80kg so i think ill let 6 ius do, im not looking for something extraordinary and im not in a hurry
