Thanks Court, yes I’d still sitting back as I pull the slack out before ripping it.

Racer, thanks dude, I’m trying!

Well, training’s been slow this week since I’m off from work and been busy with “life” stuff every day. I’ve been working on the gym wall so that it can finally be done on the outside (which is the kids’ playroom) so that’s nice. Got some squats in yesterday, but was cut short before I could do any assistance work.

Bar x some
135x10x2
185x10
215x5
235x5 (got it this week!)

And that was all I had time for, but at least hit my top set. Couple more days left in the year and I hope I can hit my weight goal, since I ate crap on Christmas but am back to where I was several days ago.

We’ll see though…

oh that pesky life stuff, how RUDE!

you seem kinda down…no matter what you’ve stuck to your goals made awesome progress regardless…

Let’s keep going, shall we?

Thanks MiM, I don’t know that I’m “down” exactly, just not exactly where I want to be. I’m good though, thanks and yes lets keep goin!

Anyone have any idea how much work and how big of a pain in the ass it is working with drywall, when you’re trying to make it look seamless?!

I’ll show you my progress so far…

Sat like this for about a year… on both sides.

Playroom side now, after the (hopefully) last coat.

was it visible to company? (or your wife? lol)

I wouldn’t have let my hubby get away with that for a year! your the master procraster! haha

Gym side now, first coat on.

Color ideas for the gym walls? Thinking grey with a red stripe around the room, or something. Open to suggestions!

Yes it was visible

Procrastination and laziness are a bad combo!

Don’t let life keep you down, grab that 13!tch by the horns!

Yeah I won’t let shit hold me down or back.

Screw that noise!

Well, got one side primed/sealed. Now it’s ready for the magnetic primer and chalkboard topcoat so the kids can stick magnets up and write with chalk on the wall

See!

yay!!

Well, only got the magnetic primer up today, then spent most of the day sighting in the rifles we’re taking to Africa in June on our safari hunt. Was a good time, but wanted to get the wall finished. Tomorrow, hopefully!

Being the last day of the year, I had to see how close I’d come to breaking 200. Well, 201.0 is damn close! Maybe tomorrow I’ll wake up lighter…we’ll see. 11.8 lbs lost in 1 month is no joke though and I know that.

Overall, I think I’ve made good progress all around this past year, and it hasn’t even been super dedicated to myself.
I’m planning on 2011 being filled with huge pr’s and drastic body comp changes along with lots and lots of greatness!

Here’s to a kick ass new year!

We have a lot of common and a lot of similar goals for the New year! Cheers!!

Happy New Year! Do you have a goal to your weight-loss–what do you macros look like?

love the chalk wall idea.

lifing room should be something that energizes, me thinks.

and so freakin jealous of that safari. Although it would be a photo safari for me. tell me you are NOT going to shoot endangered animals plz.

Happy New Year Ink!

MiM, we do have similar goals, so good luck with yours as well!

Chi, well the past month was anything with a face, and green vegetables, and it’s worked great for now. Not sure how I’m going to tackle this year yet, probably not much different than this past month for a while and just try adjusting as needed. I don’t need many carbs to function, and poor timing with them can be bad for my eat levels!

N, The wall is awesome (as you’ll see below) and I agree that I need something energizing and cool for the gym side. The safari will have a ton of pics, and I promise not to shoot any endangered animals (but any and all plains game animals that are plentiful will be taken  )

Finished the wall aside from the door trim, and wound up painting the rest of the room a different color too. It came out awesome and once it’s all dried and put back together, I’ll post another pic

Chalkboard!

Your safari: kill everything.

Keep up the good work Ink.

I too don’t need many carbs to function. Not sure if I brought that on myself, but it seems when I do eat them I blow up over night and feel like crap all the time.

I really enjoy eating pretty strict during the week and then having a refeed day, or maybe 2 moderate carb days towards the weekend. Not all out binges or anything though!
Its something to look forward to and it works with family life, etc.
