Thank you for taking the time to respond, super helpful. Again, I’m new to this and my doctor is not that helpful - and the pharmacy doesn’t seem to know what needles or syringes to send.
They originally sent me 3ml syringes with 18ga needles (1.5"!) - then wouldn’t give me more needles. Then sent 100 21ga needles, then a bunch of 25ga safety needles I couldn’t figure out.
Now: 1ml syringe. And just checked - 27ga, not 25ga. 1/2" needle. Didn’t realize slow is better. I think now I know what I’m supposed to do. Short, small gauge, slow injection, small syringe.
You got it. If you have larger needles draw with that and then inject with the 27ga.
Using 1ml syringes is the way to go with small amounts.
If they are not sending you what you want just order your own. Supplies are super cheap
T is a viscous, oily substance and pretty thick to pass through 25g or higher. I pull with 18g from the ampule and mix with B12 (1:1), that “cuts” or dilutes the substance and I can inject easily (and quickly) with 25g. Good luck. Oh, I inject with 1" in side of quad. Minor pain every now and again, but nothing worth complaining over - and I don’t do pain very well!
