Heh, I don’t know if most first time users’ delts are going to accommodate a 1.5" needle like our shoulders will, saps
However, yeah, I completely agree with you. If you don’t get deep enough, it can make for one of the most miserable experiences of your life.
I happen to be blessed with shoulders that grow without my doing anything to them (I literally do NO direct shoulder work at all), and can easily take a 1.5" needle along with 3mls of oil into either shoulder with zero problems, but I certainly would not suggest this to a beginner.

I normally use 23G 1" but tried the 5/8" and im not a fan. I dont like it because I feel its not deep enough at all. I can accomodate up to 1.5ml-2ml comfortably, I wouldnt recommend a 1.5" to a first timer either though. Good post.
so heres the latest guys, did the shot monday its late tuesday night/early wednesday morning and I have slight soreness but no swelling or redness. The muscles a little tight but Nothing abnormal. Thanks for the advice on the sterile oil and good luck to everyone with similiar problems. Ill update if symptoms reoccur.

Good to hear! Maybe it was due to high BA content.
