I think there’s value in masking symptoms (by this I am assuming you mean make a person as comfortable as possible) when a cure doesn’t exist. Masking symptoms for thise with HIV/AIDS, for example, is all that can currently be done. I don’t think that’s a bad thing nor the profit made from it a bad thing. Particularly because billions are put into R&D.
Idk, devils advocate here, most healthcare costs occur at the end of life, right? So extending life should, in theory, ultimately earn them higher profits on the back end.
Sure, but you can say this about any industry really. Banks want people to take mortgages they probably can’t afford rather than rent, for example.
I’ve changed my opinion due to Tnation debates a few times, due primarily to people like Zep and others who are shown to be completely dishonest when confronted with their views. Makes me make sure I’m not like that, but it is amusing when it happens.
Because YOU think you know what you’re talking about, it must be true. I’m only trying to spread information to those who are no longer drinking the Kool-Aid.
I spread information to those who are willing to listen. I talk about it with friends, neighbors and family members.
You have NO IDEA what you are talking about and are almost as ignorant as the average poster on this forum.
Yes, at the detriment of pharma. The are more concerned with self-preservation. Not doing what is right. If that were the case marijuana would be taken off Schedule 1 and it would be legalized in every state so people would not have to become medical refugees or break the law and possibly face jail time to have this choice.
And that in a nutshell is the reason for a big fail of our “healthcare” system. Not only do we pay a higher price than every other industrialized country we also do this for mediocre to poor results.
Profits are the name of the game. Whatever, can generate more. That is the governing philosophy. Big Pharma can’t compete with medicinal cannabis so they tried hard to make sure it didn’t become a reality. So they tried to limit the choice of the public. Why?
This only speaks about life chronologically, not quality of life issues.
Sure this ethos cuts across many industries. And banks pay people at banks to underwrite loans they can afford.
No, they donate because they want a certain outcome just like your donation to Comrade Sanders was to get a certain outcome.
Try reading what I wrote again…
That people want and that people can afford to eat. Better to starve in places like Venezuela, right?
I’m trying to be nice, but you make it very hard. I’m not going to argue with you about capitalism. You don’t understand it at all. Like the folks making money off “preventative care” aren’t capitalists. Like the organic fruits/veggie industry isn’t driven by capitalism. Like Stem Cell treatments aren’t driven by capitalism.
Your base assumption that capitalism is bad is just nonsense unworthy of discussion.
Kinda hard for a business to exist if it doesn’t make a profit.
It’s really strange how many hundreds of millions of dollars just three pharm companies give to charity since they only care about profits.
Guess you don’t hate capitalism with how much affiliate shit you spew. I avoid using those personally, buy then again I’m not a shill
And yet, you’re so terrible at it, I’m yet to see you sway the opinion of a single person on here.
Serious question. How many of those friends neighbors and family members are American voters? Because thats the only metric that matters here. You don’t like big pharma, illegal weed, etc. That’s all fine and dandy. But you’re talking about systems that can only change by swaying the view of American voters.
People like you are so damn bad at swaying people you’re actually doing big pharma a favor. Big pharma actually loves people like you, because you’re so bad at this you actually help them.
I’ve been changing people’s minds for years. You’ve been making it harder to legalize weed by nature of being so bad at convincing people you do the opposite
The best part is you’re not American, you don’t convince Americans, and don’t widely socialize with Americans. I know plenty what I’m talking about, since I’ve done it. You’re some guy on his phone that doesn’t know better
Exactly. So the goal is to sway the American voter. You don’t do that, I do. You are the problem
Whoa whoa … are you saying you DON’T like Au Gratin? And I’m the idiot…this guy.
Is it b/c your mom doesn’t let you use the oven? Probably…You’re missing out though homie … Au Gratin are niiiiiice. Especially with a little heavy cream in the cheese sauce right after you take a hit off of that sweet sweet medicinal joint … you’re flying high that night my friend…
Oh no the public wants the outcome to favor the majority instead of the minority which already has more than enough. How evil.
As if avoiding starvation is a deciding factor in what they do. It is all about profits and if destroying the health of the public is part of that equation then so be it… Longevity not quality is the name of the game.
No you don’t understand it. You can’t question it as it’s your personal Jesus. To do so would be blasphemous. But it is eating itself and doesn’t need YOU to understand it. The course will go on and reach it’s inevitable conclusion.
As if this is justification for them to try and do the best they can to block treatments from reaching the public because they can’t make the same amount of profits from said treatments. Easy to give away millions to give off the impression that you care while simultaneously blocking treatments from coming to the market, so you can keep your monopoly status. But you can’t see that because you’ve bought into the propaganda hook, line and sinker.
I had gotten an email about the series and posted the link on the testosterone forum. It is for people who want to learn about medicinal cannabis. If something is being sold then you have the choice to buy it or pass. All the series can be viewed for free. I know, how evil.
If you don’t believe me, then too bad for you.
And a word on profits. Who is this outfit preventing from getting treatments? No one. More than I can say for Big Pharma.
You have it backwards Big Pharma loves self-righteous idiots like you.
Care to give examples of your flimsy argument?
Please tell me how disseminating information is turning people away from medicinal cannabis? How is that a problem?
Lol the irony. I’ve been pushing people AWAY from big pharma for years. Because I’m not mouth breather.
You, otoh, are SO BAD at this you actually help big pharma. You’re so damn bad at this people automatically assume everything you say is wrong.
Lol hell no. It would be a complete waste of time. Your views and opinions of these topics don’t matter to me. You’re an outsider who has only a negative impact on progress.
Because the information you present suffers from guilty by association. You spend far too much time screaming about “Big Pharma” and “profits” to actually get a point across. You’re also stupidly combative with people that don’t share your opinion.
Also, you’re not the first person to fail miserably at getting people to rebel against Big Pharma. Americans did what you’re doing now for DECADES with no success. Guess what? They eventually learned they just weren’t convincing. They modified their argument into more realistic terms and got actual progress.
I have no idea why you refuse to learn from other people’s past mistakes. You choose to pursue a method that has been fundamentally proven to be ineffective. Let the grown ups make real change happen, it’s certainly not going to come from you.
