And you are so easily manipulated.

The fact that weed is still a Schedule 1 drug is a main reason why more studies in the U.S. do not take place. Now who is responsible for this colossal error?

The GOP is like the Democratic party. Run by and for the elite class.

It doesn’t boggle the mind when you realize they are essentially run by and for corporations and their profit.

Is this a reply to yourself regarding your inability to figure out the “quote” function of this forum?

But, really, what are you doing with this thread? You are all worked up and being argumentative when no one arguing the other side of the issue.

  1. Should marijuana be legalized (at least for medicinal purposes)? Yes, of course.

  2. Should marijuana be removed from the Schedule 1 drugs so its medical benefits can be more easily and effectively studied? Yes, of course.

  3. Is the profit of pharmaceutical companies negatively affecting the public, by treating symptoms for profit rather than moving towards preventative measures and natural remedies? Yes, of course.

So, what exactly are you arguing with everyone here about?

I too thoroughly enjoy potatoes. Imagine my surprise when I happened upon the purple “yuppy” potatoes at the grocery store. Though cynical I gave them a shot, only to discover they were delicious.

Hmmmm
Wonder why they o such things?

Yes, and Democrats.

Democrats have recently been on record voting FOR legalization, while Republicans have not.

Are you using 10 year old news articles when you wonder what Americans are doing?

So why aren’t these things coming true. Yes, I do realize that marijuana is starting to become more legal. This is because of the public, not corporations.

Why hasn’t it been removed from Schedule 1?

Hopefully the end of the Big Pharma’s stranglehold on the “healthcare” system is coming to an end soon and healthcare will be there to serve the public’s health not profits,

And you may have to look over some of the posts on this forum to actually believe some of the absolute bullshit excuses people make up for pharma.

I’m tired of answering for it to be ignored.
I’m tired of answering for it to be bastardized.
I’m tired of educating you.

What kind of Democrats? Status quo, politicians or real progressives? If status quo Democrats are voting for legalization. They do so because of self-preservation not because it is the right thing to do. They are scared of being voted out of office.

As usual you have no answer. To you donations and Big Pharma lobbying are just done for the fun of it.

Agree with everything else except this. Big pharm would move towards preventative care if that’s what the public wanted. We know what the public wants, though. A quick fix pill for the heart disease they’ve developed from years of McDonald’s abuse.

People that care about natural solutions and preventative actions pursue them on their own. Most everyone else wants to enjoy their unhealthy vices and take a no-effort solution in a bottle or pill, imo.

Wrong.

Or because their constituents are making their voices heard. Not to pull the “you’re an outsider” card, but you have no idea what you’re talking about.

I’ve been having constructive conversations with American voters for years, convincing a number of them to support legalization and research. What have you done? Except more harm than good that is. It’s twice as hard to convince most people to support weed because people like you exist. You’re so bad at swaying opinion you actually support the other side.

And to top it all off you’ve been shown multiple times to be a shill for affiliate links. I’ve been making progress for legalization, you’ve been making progress against it. People like you are basically the reason big Pharma gets away with so much. You are the problem.

I think we both pretty much agree here. Most people certainly want to have their cake and eat it too, both literally and figuratively. However, I think when someone has an ailment, they would like for it to be cured with a pill, and not just have the symptoms masked.

It’s like all the Nutrisystem or Jenny Craig ads that say “Eat pizza, burgers, cake, etc
and still lose weight!”. People, for whatever reason, feel they’re entitled to fatty fried foods and want a pill to offset the obesity, diabetes, and multitude of health problems.

That said, there’s also more profit in masking symptoms and pushing pills than having a healthy, thriving population. Don’t think that a drug company that comes up with a pill to “manage” high blood pressure doesn’t want as many people as possible to take this rather than managing it by meditation and lifestyle.
