I’m on a severely restricted budget so I don’t have a lot of money to spend on Supplements (think Walmart). I have two young boys under the age of two who don’t allow for more than 4 hours of continuous sleep a night. This has been going on for a few months now and I think it’s effecting my immune system and I’m pretty sure it’s effecting my moods.
Anyway, what supplement (if any) would you recommend as an immune system booster? It seems like anytime I try to change up my training, I get sick for 3- 4 days. I currently take a multivitamin, an omega complex capsule and a glucosamine chondroitin pill.
Thanks for your help!

gaffertape their mouths shut and lock erm in the basement when you want to sleep.
yes, no, maybe?
well, make sure you eat loads of good food and try adding ZMA or just plain zinc into your diet. and cut out alcohol, you sound like you dont have the time to process it
I have the same issue. If I don’t get enough sleep (7 hrs min) for several days in a row I’m going to get sick. Unfortunately I haven’t discovered any supplement that really works to help boost my immune system. “Lots-o-vitamin C” doesn’t do it for me.
The only thing that works for me is to take a few days off from training. I know that isn’t going to be popular advice but it sure beats getting sick for 3-4 days.
(x2 on ZMA)
well if you’re already getting up a few times a night, chug a casein protein shake.
I’ll look into the ZMA. Alcohol doesn’t happen around here. I can’t afford it if I wanted it. And all I have is WHEY protein and I think that’s a good idea. If I’m in the kitchen I might as well…
