I’m still on the old Alpha-GPC with two caps taken 90mn before workout.
I’ve read that people says the liquid version is working faster on them, for instance 45mn after drinking it.
My question is : if I take this new liquid version 45mn before the workout, will it only ‘begin’ to work 45mn later, or will it release it’s full effectiveness, as if I would have taken the old version 90mn before ?

Not sure exactly what you’re asking, but I believe this topic has been covered earlier in this thread.
The cognitive effects of liquid Alpha-GPC take effect quickly, but the full effect on improved explosive efforts kicks in at 90 minutes.
This may seem like a simple minded question but can anyone comment on any drop in strength once off the Alpha-GPC. I’m definitely going to use it when I do the Smolov but I was curious if anyone noticed a drop off?

Dr. Z addressed this on page 4 of this thread.
“Alpha-GPC will enhance performance only when it is used. That said, prolonged use may improve body comp (i.e., lower body fat), and that effect would be retained.”
I have used and liked the “old” capsule version of Alpha-GPC. Now when the liquid form is out I’m eager to try it out, but I’ve got a question on my mind. It says that the new form is “New and fast-acting” and in recommended use guidlines it says to consume a serving 90mins before training, yet the recommendation on “old” caps version says to consume 2 capsules 60-90mins before training.
Is there a mistake in there or what, because comparing the two would lead me to conclusion that capsule version was faster acting?
I tried first time today - 600mgs, 90 mins. prior to legs today. Didn’t notice any difference with weights used, was heavy for me (relative of course).
I will try 900 mgs. 60 mins. before on Friday, Close Grip Bench day.

What is the best way to take this stuff if the priority is not weight lifting, but cognitive benefits? In other words, is it better to take this with food, with fish oil, on the empty stomach? Is there any other T-Nation supplement that Alpha-GPC can be stacked with for cognitive benefits or does it work just fine on its own?

Alpha GPC can be consumed with anything or nothing but water. I haven’t noticed a difference either way.
While it works great by itself, I’ve stacked it with both Power Drive and Spike on different occasions and experienced a synergistic effect.
