Actually females spend a good portion of the day hunting or taking care of cubs.
the reason daddy lion is shown to be lazing around is because that he’s lording over about 3- 8 females and they all come into heat at the same time and he will have to mate with ALL of them and do it non stop, and i mean non stop because the ladies are ready to go again within 15 minutes, for 3 days untill they stop being horny and give him peace. if they Don’t get pregnant after a few weeks he’ll have to do it all again

and that is why male lions are seen shagged out and sleeping all the time on documentaries

OP great idea. You are really smart to make this observation. But you know what is even bigger than vegatarians trees! We should all sit in the sun and rain and allow our body to obsorb the water and sunlight and we’ll be the same size as a tree! Awesome.

I’ll also add.

Hey guys, ever notice how the really big planets are gas giants and the smaller ones tend to be filled with metal/rock. I bet if we all were full of hot air, we could get like really huge. You think we should build fires and stand over them breathing in the hot air so we get massive? Yea! I win!
