Impressions of Amon Amarth Gig

This was my first Amon Amarth concert and I really liked it.

Amon Amarth are great. What was the set list?

I use to like them a lot. It seems like they got really melodic in the last couple years, though.

Can’t remember the whole set list but included were in no particular order:

Guardians of Asgard
The Valkyries Ride
Death in Fire
The Fate of Norns
Cry of the Black Birds
Live for the Kill
Varyags of Miklagaard
Where Silent Gods Stand Guard
Bleed for Ancient Gods
Pursuit Of Vikings (one of my favorites)
Victorious March

Hm, that’s when I really started to like them (that is, since “Versus the World”).

Ok, here’s a clip from “Pursuit of Vikings”.

I was surprised at what precautions people took to survive the mosh pit unharmed.

I dont like 'em…too slow for my tastes

Cool stuff thanks for sharing. I like Amon Amarth, I have Avenger and the last 2 albums.

Here’s a kick ass doom/sludge band, Black Cobra.

Isn’t the singer some 6’8’’ tall, and an absolute beast?

6’8 might be, but definitely not a beast.

I <3 this band

death in fire at the palladium in worcester was surreal. i think every soul in the joint was jabbing the air with the horns, and screaming along with hegg.

I absolutely despise you for getting to see them live.

Looks like it was fuckin awesome.
